This is our first mod on minecraftforums.net.

It's a simple mod that is based on an infected block, that mean that this block spread and replace any other block around.

  You may backup your saves before using this mod  .

FEATURES

• Liquids become infected liquid that disappears slowly.
  
• Trees become infected trees with leaves that are a bit lighting.
  
• Creepers become Super Creepers on contact with infection
  
• Cows and Chickens explode on contact with infection
  
• Sheep become purple on contact with infection
  
• And more interactions between mobs and infection.

xD looks like a nice original idea but i dont think many people will like to see their homes totally made of purple wool

Can you make a better texture... and a reason to actually use this? Its not even SMP so me and my friends can't have some kind of RP about this either.

Well its a unique way to force a player out and find new chunks.

1: Rename the mod
2: Add uses for it and limit spread

I'm very bat at texturing but I will try. For the reason, it's fun, just like making big towers of TnT. I work on a smp version, it will come soon.

If your bad at texturing use the some nether blocks, preferably soul sand, so the infected lands look hellish you could change the block's properties to make it deal damage to the player? Trees might catch on fire and water should turn to... mmm maybe just disapear, Just an idea, nice work though, i think its fun so far but new textures would make it a whole lot better

Reminds me of that Creep mod in Blockland, except that stuff killed you.

kool first mod. Maybe as an expansion idea, add a mob that spawns on it and a way to purify it.

You do not need modloader at all. But A modloader version is planned.

This reminds me of terraria.
But, doesnt seem like a good mod.
1.Who wants to have an unstoppable infection?
2.Nothing much happens except the world looks ugly

This mod is totally useless, like I said, it's just something fun as TnT is. And we aren't designers, we don't know how to make a texture that look really good.

Some kind of a big update coming tomorrow

How about if you make it so that

1. A certain block can stop it
2. It may light on fire
3. It spawns an evil mob

Maybe you could make it so that you take damage when you stand on it, encouraging you to move away or go underground

PS: IDK why, but this reminds me of zombies in old creative mode
