ok I dont know much about computers frankly. but i was wondering if you guys can tell me if my laptop is good enough for playing minecraft.thank you.
specs
256 graphic
3gb ram
32bit
2Ghz processor
and im on windows vista

If your CPU is a dual core then it will do fine ... it might not be able to cope with max settings but you will be able to play

probably, but those specs are not indicative of much. Using optifine would help. Also, it would be much easier to judge if you gave us the computer model... i mean, it could be a good 2ghz proccessor or a crap one, and i cant tell from what you told me

Guys considering pretty much the same game now runs on phones im pretty confident a laptop can run on atleast low settings

Robes: Your information is... bad.

1) Having a dual core cpu wont help. its the video card that matters.

2) Phones cant run minecraft, so that whole thing is also stupid.

OP: Find out what kind of video card you have, or find the model on the bottom. "A335D" has a series of about 8 different configurations that range from "Cant play minecraft" to "can play it very well"
Did your world disappear from minecraft? Is it corrupt? Lags? Can't move? "Saving Chunks" Crash? Crashes when you open chests? It can be saved!
