I have another bug (I think) to report. This one is obscure to the player but potentially devastating to gameplay so I thought I should report it.
The bug started when I put The Lion King mod in after Forestry. I assigned all the ID's proplerly and both mods seemed to be working fine. First I logged in and tested out Forestry, making sure everything was functioning alright. Then I went to test the Lion King mod. Now to get to the Pridelands from the Overworld you have to hand a golden ingot to the lion ticket master. He's suppose to give you a lion king ticket. You use the ticket on the portal stones in the theater and it opens a portal to the Pridelands.
So I gave the ticket lion the gold bar and he gave me crated scrap. This of course made no sense what so ever, because the ID's were just fine.
"Lion King Ticket"=5690 (The Lion King Mod)
So I took my problem to Mevan (Genius creator of the Lion King mod) and he said this:
The scrap issue is due to Forestry handling its IDs incorrectly. My config works like this: the item IDs are the same as the number you would use in the /give command, e.g. /give player 5000, if you had the Lion King ticket's ID configured as 5000, would give you a ticket.
In the code, the game adds 256 to the number that is actually written for the item ID. Forestry must have forgotten to account for this and so the IDs in its config are actually 256 lower than the real in-game ID. Now your scrap's ID in the config is 5434, and this gets raised by 256, giving a real ID of 5690 - the same as the Lion King ticket.
I just thought I should pass it along so you could look into it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
