ok i give up...

ive tried the whole internet and now i give in,,,

PLS help me

Im running a Alpha server,
ive writen:    whiteliste=true
in                 server.properties
and created  whitelist.txt


and still i can login...ive tried my own username for testing
on the outside of my internet to, same thing :P
where do i go wrong????

Register or log in to remove.

What mod or wrapper are you using? Whitelisting is not a feature in vanilla Minecraft. If you install a mod/wrapper that has this feature it should create the text file for you (and usually have an example in comments or instruction in the corresponding forum thread). Hope this helps.

Vanilla is just an expression--the plain old version you get from minecraft.net

Hmod and SimpleServer are good ones. The multiplayer discussion subforum is a good place to go for all things mod-related.
