The spawn wasn't at the begging. The spawn was always at he gold room.

The original spawn point is at the start. But when you activate the right pressure plate it drops sand on top of your original spawn point making you spawn on top of the sand.

Finished and overall review was 7 or 8 / 10 
It made me rage quit once and nearly do it a second time So yeah i cheated so i gave you an extra point

I love this map! It's very clever, and I like the multiple spawn locations!
I absolutely recommend this to anyone!
