Hello! Today I'm gonna show you how to change the music discs in Minecraft to your own taste. Just follow these easy steps and you will be rocking to your own tunes in Minecraft in no time.

Step 1. Find the song you want and make an mp3 version.
Step 2. Go to this link and download the program. http://www.snapfiles.../mp3ogglab.html
Step 3. Create on OGG file of the song you want.
Step 4. Open RUN and type %appdata%.
Step 5. Open .minecraft and click resources.
Step 6. Click streaming.
Step 7. Rename the OGG file generated and call it cat.ogg.
Step 8. Drag that file into streaming.
Step 9. Rock out while mining!

Thank you and please comment. Tell me if it doesn't work and I'll do my best to fix your problem.

3 Questions:

A: Is there nothing to convert to .mus?
B: Doesn't MC Replace all modified files?
C: This is Client-Sided, therefore it would be force-disabled on servers, correct?

But, yeah, thx anyways ^_^
Needs to be about 20% cooler.

You have to start minecraft, place your file in, and then try it as it doesn't update the files when in the main menu.

According To Me, The Music is almost everyone's life, an important part. Everyone has a favorite band or musician, and why it is that they are more than happy to share with others. It has been like this for a long time, but in the past than it is to share music and listen to music is totally different .

This didn't work for me. I placed my own ogg file, renamed cat, and replaced the old cat with my file. The regular cat still plays.

Edit: Nevermind, now its working. I just tried it again, and it worked the second time. I don't know what I did the second time. >_>

For everyone having problems: AudioMod by Risugami disables Minecraft from fixing the modded files so you can play your music. Hope this helps!

Also for people wanting an .ogg file converter, there is a website. Here is the link: http://audio.online-.../convert-to-ogg hope this helps!

It doesn't work since now it is .mus for everything, if you can find a .ogg to .mus thing, it can be good!
