This is true. I didn't read the spoilers until now, but back tracking the circuit that is what I did because it made perfect sense and obviously worked.

As a teaser - I'm reading through every post I can on cannon construction. I suggest you do the same =)

As long as your future puzzles don't require use to understand how an ALU works, I bet we can fumble through it.

It will probably just require you to operate it. I'm debating whether that would entail you just activating it or would require placing a block or two to complete it. Obviously, constructing a cannon from scratch would be too big a task (I'm still figuring the damn things out), as would any sort of "aiming."

I definitely want the next installment to give a little more freedom in solving puzzles - including more construction. After all, building is the bleeding heart of the game. I just need to come up with some clever ways to give you a little more material to play with without making every challenge too easy. With sufficient supplies, you can do just about anything in this game - which is awesome, but it makes puzzle-creation tricky.

Didn't foresee that. Kudos. Doesn't bother me much though - after all, you really have to know your redstone to know you can do that. Glad to see I unintentionally gave you a few extra options =)

Well yeah, but that's cheating. See rule 1. All the challenges are pretty trivial once you start smashing things (although, without a pickax it'll take you a while. Note to self - use more obsidian next time).

I'm really looking forward to Notch coming out with some kind of "Adventure Mode" that will let me hard-code in various permissions (like no breaking blocks) and implement a "save and reload" feature. That would make this feel much more polished and much less irritating to play.

Ah, yeah, my bad lol. I was focusing on the fact that you could destroy the TNT that I forgot you weren't allowed to destroy the glass.

It'd be awesome if you could craft tempered glass with the lava or something. Or even so that if they tried to break the glass it'd explode due to high pressures and kill them :Skeleton:

This reminds me of the room escape flash games I used to create :3 . Good job!
I made gigantic monster sculptures, repaint minecraft screenshots to digital art, and make maps. You can check my creations here:

This is one of the most fun things ive done in MC. Still havent beaten it yet because ive only put in one attempt and ended up blowing myself to bits, but this is fantastic work and i would love to see a sequel.

I'm trying to get the spawn point in the first room.

Maybe you should add a puzzle in the nether in the next chapter?

Version 1.01 now available - fixed room 9 by increasing target size. Let me know if you have more problems.

I'm strongly considering it. Of course, that means I have to spend some time there and figure it out.

Thanks for working on the spawn problem. I appreciate it!

The elevator room.... I don't get what I was supposed to do. I'm just guessing that whatever it was, I didn't do it....

I just built a pick axe then, paying close attention to the "only destroy what you put down" rule, made some cobble and used that to get up.....
