MCConfig is a Minecraft Crafting/Smelting Recipe maker. Using it you can for example add or edit Crafting or Smelting Recipes, however you can also add more fuels or enable features such as flying is survival or better plants (saplings plant themselves, flowers spread on dirt, etc.). Feel like making one dirt block making 64 diamond blocks? Why not? Or why not make a recipe that makes grass blocks by combining seeds and dirt? It's up to you. And at the end you can even export and share your recipes.
You will need the 'Zombe ModPack' to use it. Please note: This program is compatible with any Minecraft version as long as the Zombe ModPack is updated. However, some items/block may not be known by MCConfig and might be marked as 'unknown'. As long as you know the item's/block's id you can simply enter it and ignore MCConfig's 'unknown'-message. As long as Minecraft knows it it will work. (Even items from mods will work that way.) You can find out the vanilla item/block ids here: http://www.minecraft...iki/Data_values

Thanks for using dropbox! I love being able to download stuff with one click!
(Why do you need zombe's modpack though? I do not use it, and probably never will. Is the reason that it needs the modpack just to raise popularity for the modpack?)

No, That Modpack includes mods for crafting and smelting recipes which allows this program to add and edit recipes. besides you don't have to use the other mods if you don't want to because you can turn them off in the config.txt file.

Doesn't modloader already provide those features? mod_addCraftingRecipe and mod_addSmeltingRecipe or something like that?

Maybe it does, however I never worked with it so I can't make a program for it.

MCConfig automaticly activates the needed mods, the other ones will remain off. (or on, if they were on before)

Just updated to version 1.7. It's easier to use now and supports all the items as of Minecraft version 1.2.5.

Norton doesn't like anything. But I might make one.

I have no idea. I put so many days of hard work into it. If you like you can put it into your signature. Maybe it'll get a little bit more popular then. Who knows? Anyway, thanks you liking it. :) This means a lot to me.

Why don't you just compare it to another one? I searched for another one using Google, but all I found was MCConfig itself.
