Hello Minecraftforum
This is the second mod I release, tell me what you think about it!
My mod will choose the optimal Tool to mine the Block you want to mine.
For example, if you are trying to mine a stone with bare hands my Mod will look for a pickaxe in your inventory and choose it.
It will not switch to a pickaxe if it cant mine a block, for example an ironpickaxe and obsidian.
Video about its Function, I think it shows the functions of AutoTool best, huge thanks to TheModSpotlight!
Installation:
First install Risugamis Modloader from here:http://www.minecraft...b34c5f9330f3e00
I dont have anything to do with this Mod, its just a requirement.
Then download my Mod from here:http://dl.dropbox.co...67/AutoTool.zip and put the archive into /.minecraft/mods and you are done.
If AutoTool crashes your game run
java -versioninto the console of your choice. If it says
java version 1.6.X(X means it doesnt matter) your JRE is too old. I am working on it, but in the Meantime install JRE7 from here:http://www.oracle.co...oad-432155.html
Usage:
By default the ToolMode is 0
ToolMode 0 means the Mod doesnt do anything.
You have to push the ToolChangeButton to have it change the Mode.
This is by default the Middle Mouse Button.
My mod works in three modes: off, basic and expanded.
Basic will only choose swords, pickaxes, axes and shovels and is represented by toolmode 1.
Extended will attempt to farm dirt, put liquids into buckits and shear sheep and is represented by toolmode 2.
This is a Standard Configuration, as of Version 1.5 you can fully configure a flexible amount of modes!
After first run it will generate four files in the /mods/AutoTool folder: AutoToolKey.txt, AutoToolMode.txt, AutoToolOverrides.txt and AutoToolModeConfig.txt
The first one determines the Button to use for the ToolChangeKey, -98 is standard and means Middle Mouse Button.
The second one saves the ToolMode you were in when you last played.
AutoToolOverrides:
AutoToolModeConfig:
To unblock SMP generate a file called "override.txt" into your /.minecraft folder.
Denote that it is case-sensitive!
It is not important what is inside, the unblock is checking if it exists.
Some Users get their SSP to work but not the SMP. The most likely cause ist that your Operating System hides FileType-Attachments. In that case you have to create a new textdocument called only override.
Key Config:
If you want to change the ToolChange Key here is how to do it:
As I mentioned before the Key is stored in AutoToolKey.txt.
The Binding is the LWJGL Keybinding.
I found a nice Image in the Thread of SinglePlayerCommands, I will ask for permissions to use that.
As long as I dont have Permissions check their Thread here:http://www.minecraft...p-pack-updated/
Alternatively, you can get a second reference in the documentation of lwjgl:http://lwjgl.org/jav...board.CHAR_NONE
MouseValues:
-100 = LeftMouseButton
-99 = RightMouseButton
-98 = MouseWheel

You wont need to lookup your recipes again!
On the left side of the Crafting Table a bar of buttons will appear.
You can navigate through all recipes that exist in your Minecraft, modded ones too!
Installation:
Its like installing AutoTool, better look up how to do it there!
Instead of using AutoTool.zip you have to use AutoCraft.zip from here:http://dl.dropbox.co...7/AutoCraft.zip
Usage:
Every Time you open the CraftingGrid of a crafting Table the left side of the screen will be filled
with the AutoCraft-Gui. Click a white button and the Grid will automatically be filled.
You can see all available recipes, the one you can craft are with white background, the others are gray.
You can navigate through your recipes with the ScrollBar and empty the CraftingGrid with the "X" Button on the Bottom of the screen.

I have developed a Mod which will choose a desired Enchantmentlevel. Please tell me if there is already something like that and if I should release it.
Also I have thought about getting a Signature, but I am a relatively bad artist. Creating a Signature for one of my mods or my Mods in general would be a nice move!
