Nice work :D

I love all the HM and RF series :D

Great addition to the game ;)

Do you intend to get all the cooking and smithing recipes in-game? <3

Is there going to be some sort of sprinkler system for automatically watering the crops? This mod seems awesome but within a game like Minecraft, another thing to micromanage seems tedious and unnecessary. It will force you to stay close to your base instead of exploring. Long ventures down into mines to get materials will see your crops dying from lack of watering so this would seem to keep you from being able to accomplish anything useful other than having a vegetable garden.

Nice mod! It would be great if you can add the creatures in Rune Factory too! Maybe allow them to help you work in the farm like Rune Factory! :):):) Anyways, well done! Nice mod!

This mod doesn't work with Mo' Creatures mod. Put that in the compabilities issues.

Thank! I was also wondering why mine doesn't work. I hope the compatibility issue will be fixed I'd love to see this mod.

I'm with the people looking for some sort of irrigation to work with farming. I'd love to download it, as farming is fun, but having to come b ack home to re-water everything every morning will get frustrating. Anything you can do?

Hey, idea. If you're going to make it MineForge compatible, why not make a new type of pipe to work with buildcraft or BTW that would be for irrigating. H eck, you could use the waterwheel or windmill to help in moving the water through these irrigation thingys (maybe not pipe, but perhaps a mini-aquaduct?) Mind you, you'd also have to do a non-other-mod-requiring method for those who don't use buildcraft or BTW or whatever it would work with. Just a suggestion!

I will definately be downloading the fish mod . I love fishing, but only having one thing to fish up is a little boring. Maybe find some way to add in random non-fish.. like an old boot that has treasure in it, or a bottle that has a message in it, or somesuch?

Oh assfuck this looks awesome. I might download it when the vegetables and stuff have purposes. I agree with everyone about the irrigation system, though.

To be truthful guys, I'm really on the fence about re-adding irrigation. It kind of breaks the whole purpose of the watering can and removes the sense of farming realism and the reward of a successful harvest. I apologize for not making this clear in the opening post but all of the crops I've added do not take nearly as long to grow as wheat, pumpkins, or melon. On average, my crops usually take no longer than two Minecraft days to grow to maturity since most of the crops only have three to four growing stages (as opposed to the eight that wheat has). Also, you can manipulate the growth rate by obtaining Withered Grass and using it on newly planted crops. If you work it out just right, you don't even have to water the next day since all of your crops will be fully grown in one day.

I also apologize about all of the compatibility issues. Forge should fix most of them but I'm just waiting for it to be released. Until then, I don't expect that my mod will have any compatibility, but I am taking notes, so if you run into an issue, just list it here.

Thanks in advance.

Well with everyone speaking of copyrights, I do see that he put the correct information showing that the sprites, and other portions of this mod, does belong to Rune Factory and NOT himself so.... I'm unsure if he could really get sued or not. It's under his copyright section (in a spoiler).

Anyways, I've already shared my views on what would be awesome to see. All the pieces of the game slowly being introduced, but that would take a long time. Until then, I commend you for your great job.

Then perhaps add some sort of system that only waters for a certain amount of days until the water supply runs out? Realistically, how many farmers these days go around to each patch of crop with a watering can? Most have some sort of system that does it automatically for them while they can do other things, like tend to the animals. Even if it only takes 2 days to harvest, I don't know how many people would want to sit at their house for 2 days, not me certainly. It's very nice to be able to come back home after adventuring to a garden ready to be harvested.

Then again, I can't use it anyway since I have Mo' Creatures, definitely not giving that one up, my bunnies are too cute, haha.

Hi! Okay this is probably the worst first post to make (haha) but I'm way too excited about this mod, being a Rune Factory fan :] I think I installed it correctly: the sickle, watering can and magnifying glass work just fine, but I can't get my hands on any veggie seeds :{ just regular ones. Can you give installation instructions so I know I installed it correctly? Or maybe this is the mod? I'm running on linux btw but I don't think that would change too much... :{

Just wanted to let you know... thank you!

I'm not familiar with linux but do you have any other mods installed? Other mods are conflicting with Rune Craftory right now since I don't have it Forged. Also, did you make sure you copied the ENTIRE contents into your minecraft.jar? If you left out jx.class file (which is an edited Block Tallgrass that tells it to drop seeds), then no new seeds would drop from tallgrass. That's the only thing I can think of at the moment.

Well I tried it on a clean install of minecraft actually as I went back from 1.9... I'll try one more time with a clean install and double check that I put the files in the minecraft.jar file. I know some mods that use modloader tell you to put the zip it in the 'mods' folder so I wanted to double-check that that wasn't the case. Thanks for replying back!
