RuneCraftory is the name of the collection of mods inspired by the popular RPGs: Rune Factory & Harvest Moon. Each of these mods can be installed individually, or used together as one for a unique Minecraft experience.

Content I am currently working on for the next update:
Condense all of crops into one block ID and set up the proper values in TileEntity.
Give crops, seeds, and food levels up to five and set drop rates accordingly.
Rework the entire leveling system to be easier and more rewarding.
Add in an optional mode for players looking for an little extra challenge.
Add an ingame GUI recipe book for ChefCraftory.
Expand Harvest Chest further with items to buy and sell.
Set proper prices for items in Harvest Chest.
Give cooked dishes extra healing based effects.
Update released Feb 12, 2012.

Please read this information about the new update to FarmCraftory!

FarmCraftory v1.6.2
For Minecraft 1.1.0 (Single Player)
Requires: ModLoader (1.1.0); Forge API (1.1.0)

FarmCraftory is a farming based mod that adds a whole array of new crops and farming tools to Minecraft and expands the game's farming mechanics to function similarly to the popular RPG/farming game: Rune Factory & Harvest Moon.

Version 1.6.3 Feature List
  • Zero sprite indices used
  • Fixed certain seeds not dropping properly from tallgrass
  • Fixed sprite mix up with Gold and Diamond sickles
  • Changed experience system. Levels are much easier to gain.
  • Condensed all of the crops into one block ID (Block ID: 145)
  • Added levels to crops and seeds (up to level 5). Use a sickle on crops for higher chance at getting better seeds.
  • Added crop level equation based on your current farming level. Crops will only drop a higher level seed if your level is high enough. (0-9: No chance at higher level seeds; 10-19: Seeds up to lvl 2; 20-29: Seeds up to lvl 3; 30-39: Seeds up to lvl 4; 40+: Seeds up to lvl 5)
  • Added optional mode for those looking for a little more challenge to farming. To turn it on, go into the config file and change "hardcoreMode" from false to true.

FruitCraftory v.1.0.1
For Minecraft 1.1.0 (Single Player)
Requires: ModLoader (1.1.0);

FruitCraftory is a fruit tree mod that adds trees that grow fruit in Minecraft. This mod is able work with FarmCraftory/ChefCraftory/FishCraftory or on its own.

Version 1.0.1 Feature List
  • Initial Release
  • Added 6 new fruit and saplings: Orange, Grapes, Pear, Peach, Banana, & Cherry
  • Added growing system for fruit.
  • Fruit tree leaves can now be changed between Fast and Fancy graphics

Fruit Trees
Fruit trees are grown from special saplings. These saplings can be obtained from buying them from the Harvest Chest if you have ChefCraftory installed, or will appear when you use bonemeal on grass blocks.

Growing Fruit
After a fruit tree grows from the sapling stage, it will turn into a tree with unripe fruit. These fruit will need to ripen over time before they can be picked. After the fruit is ripe, it can be picked by breaking it off the branch. All fruit trees will eventually grow back their fruit after they are picked so be careful not to chop it down accidentally.

GUICraftory v1.3
For Minecraft 1.1.0 (Single Player)
Requires: ModLoader (1.1.0);

GUICraftory is a required mod for Farm/Chef/Fish/SeasonCraftory. It adds a GUI/HUD on the main Minecraft screen that details level, season, time and even current biome information. What is shown on the GUI depends on which mod you have installed. It can also be installed on its own.

Version 1.3 Feature List
  • Added currency amount to the GUI. You can now keep track of how much Luna you have.

Wow... This is an example of an excellent first mod. Amazing textures, doesn't add random ores, and fits in well with the game. 10/10

Edit: Wow you really took this far! Keep up the good work! :iapprove:

This is indeed a wonderful copy of Rune Factory so far. I can see you adding all the weapons, armor, upgrading of those things, new drops (so that you can collect those elemental pieces for weapons) as well as the medicine and cooking portions, if you wanted.

By the way, what texture pack are you using?

Very nice mod, Can you cook the fishies? I'd install the runecraftory but i'm pretty sure it'll conflict with Pam's Harvest Craft

Yes, you can cook them. :)

As for compatibility, yes I'm afraid Rune Craftory will conflict with other farming mods since Block Tallgrass is edited to drop new seeds.

Just a suggestion, but you should make it compatible with ItemSpriteApi or something similar that use unlimited item sprites so that I (and probably countless other people) won't have to erase some other mods just to fit this one in. Again, just a suggestion, since I don't know the difficulty of doing this.

Yes, the sprite textures will appear in 16x texture packs but at a reduced quality since the original textures are 32x. But everything functions the same way unless there is an issue I'm not aware of yet.

I really like the look of this, but it's a shame the 'crop irrigation' via nearby water would no longer work if this mod is installed. I like to construct Strongholds, build railroad & irrigation systems and mine for resources as much as I like farming, and with the size of the fields I envision (what with all the new crop types) I'd be watering all day long.

Still, a remarkable mod!
SsssssssssssssssssssssssssSURPRISE! "What the FUUUU..." BOOM
