I have a slow crappy computer as well. I may have to pick this up, though luckily in my current world I have a medium Oil bubble 20 blocks from my spawn.
Sometimes having that ultra long Pipe network is just satisfying to look at.
The other thing these pipes let you do is not have to re-arrange your machines to fit the pipes in. just have to remember frequencies.
One question: Are the frequencies isolated? I use Wireless redstone as well and it has frequencies, I don't know how that works but just wondering.
Yes they are isolated. Oil Transport Freq's are different from Item transport freq's and they are both separate from WR freq's
This is so outrageously useful I have only one complaint. It is way too cheap to craft. I think 6 diamond gears around the current recipy would make it *reasonable*. I would modify it myself, but I do not know how to decompile any mod files with MCE other than the default minecraft files.
Cool, you should add nether portal pipes that send things to and from the nether! You should also make your pipes more expensive, like the sorting pipe.

Wow that is costy (6 gears x 4 diamond + 1 already required = 25 diamond for 2 pipes O.O)

Unlikely to be possible, mainly because the nether is paused while in the overworld, and vise versa, and more imporantly, is not loaded.

Technically it is 25 diamonds, 24 gold, 24 iron, 24 cobble, and 24 sticks, as well as ofc 2 lightstone. It may be a bit overkill, but I think that the effectiveness of teleporting items over pretty much infinite distances would be well worth the cost.

With your first point, I do not believe it is possible.
With the second, that is quite alot of resources, I may make an option to set your own recipe in the future but that would mess with MP :\

Hmm. I see the big issue there. Generally any of the customizable mod things require each person on a server to have that specific version of the mod, with all the same options.
I think just 2 diamond gears would be more reasonable.
I'm just super excited that it exists, and works :smile.gif:. I was REALLY dreading having to build a CRAZY long pipe network between the oil well I found and my main base. Theres one huge one I built in one of my episodes (I fast-forward while building that guy, lol) and that was just for a SMALL oil deposit. I then found a big oil deposit like 10x farther away.
Hmm pretty useful when I up-linked every long distances away in each frequency..
hmm I think should reply for the new recipe for the teleport thing bit expensive but worth it..
how about: 2 red dust each upper and below middle side 3 diamonds on middle straight side.. Last of remains needed to put something that worth a bit expensive.. Due to teleporting to every act like portal that shift things.. so the remain corners must be odsidian = 4 pieces..
2 red dusts act as power source/trigger attached to any connection to red power..
3 diamonds use to charge power that supposed to be store energy and can be like energy sources..
4 obsidian that reassemble related to nether portal.. so the small power of this can teleport shift up every blocks/items they do..
must be like this:
= red dust/ red stones
For the items/block teleport pipe..
Next, how about change a oil well teleportation pipe recipes..
hmm it should be bit cheaper than blocks/item teleport pipe because it only suck liquids..
how about 1's Buildcraft oil pipe in middle (If use buildcraft oil pipes or put 3 glasses upper and below middle) so a pipe can be reconfigure to oil teleport pipe.. 2 obsidian in each middle sides for shift things that I say in block/item teleport pipe before.. and 4 red dusts on corners for good power supplies..
So 3 glasses or 1 buildcraft oil pipes uses as sucking in requirement unlike item/block teleport pipes..
2 obsidian men't to be small shifting teleportation like portal..
4 red dusts that use to powering or attached with red power lines.. that should work..
Must be like this:
= Buildcraft oil pipe
= red dust/red stone
(build craft attachment)

Really like these ideas. After MP is implemented I will look into re-factoring the recipe. My suggestion at the moment is to delete the extra items out of your inv to make the pipe "balanced" in your mind, until I change the recipe
i say make the teleport pipes to be a recipe that involves buildcraft pipes ^^
like dunno one of each normal buildcraft pipe in the upper 3 and lower 3 rows (toss cobble pipe out of recipe ^^) 2 redstone and a glowstone in the middle.... and for the oil pipe make it have instead of a glowstone in the middle to be a oil tank thingy, and you will only get like 2 teleport pipes out of it.
this makes you save so much work and recourses that i would even suggest something more pricy to create it.. oh and make it so you cant "re-harvest" those pipes make em get destroyed after you smash em no matter which tool you use... thats fragile teleporting device and smashing it with anything does no good to it at all :tongue.gif:
I will be using the oil tank suggestion, I forgot it existed when making the recipe :tongue.gif:
[Edit]
For all those who are waiting, MP is almost done, I need to fix a GUI centering bug, and ofc do some more testing
Can you make it so teleport pipes can't connect to each other? I can't foresee a reason you'd want them to -- and if you do, just put 1 cobble pipe in between. So it behaves like a wooden pipe :smile.gif:.
This way, you can put a line of machines down, with a teleport pipe on the end of each.

Working on MP atm, no eta yet though
However, I cut out the section that deals with this mod, and made it its own seperate video. Enjoy!!

That is awesome!! I will put the video in the main post thanks!

How about a config file? Where we can change the block id.EDIT: Oh...F me, It's in the buildcraft folder. My bad. Other than that, awesome pipe addon!

Versus
Whatcha think ? :smile.gif:
I already added this to the next version.
In that case you ROCK! :smile.gif:
SMP support (+ non-connecting pipes) is being tested extensively atm, and baring any real bugs should be released tonight/tomorrow
Thats Awesome :smile.gif:
