are you using BC 2.2.1 or later because that problem was supposed to be fixed in that version
Yeah I am, I installed this mod on top of that one so basically I haven't a scooby what's wrong. The regular wooden pipes are fine, just these ones that are fubar.
to fix the pipe textures, open the mod zip, and go through net and all the other folders until you get to a bunch of pictures. find the one called block texture override and add that to the buildcraft core zip in the same place (net folder, and carry on through). delete the block texture file in the buildcraft zip and rename the copied file to "block_textures.png" (remove quote marks) and that should fix the pipe texture problem. the other problem i have no clue on though :/
While this works to repair the pipe textures for this mods pipes, it changed the diamond pipe in buildcraft to the look of the distribution transport pipe. it also does not fix the main issue here of the vanilla game items that have the textures of the the pipes from this mod... must be something in the code that broke them, but i cant get into that as i have no idea where to start looking.. to me its just a skinning problem at this point... and hope it gets fixed soon...

I went backwards down the list and found out that this problem doesn't occur on version 1.6. So something happened at version 1.7 that created this and it somehow stayed until now.
I'm using buildcraft 2.2.1, which version do i use?
I have EE v4.11, industrial craft 2 v1.15, Redpower 2.0pre2, spc, wireless redstone, portal gun mod, minefactory reloaded, and some add-ons for ic2. Wondering if it is conflicting with one of these?
Don't worry, it's not the technic pack.
Also, any recommendations for more awesome mods to install that won't conflict?
This is probably a stupid question but I am so sleep deprived that it seems my brain just can't figure this simple problem out.
How can I set up a couple Distribution Pipes to evenly distribute to multiple outputs?
I'm using this with Industrialcraft, Equivalent Exchange, and of course Buildcraft. I created a compact factory to create lava cells for me, and I need them evenly distributed to at least five Geothermal Generators. So basically, I need to set up multiple distribution pipes that will evenly distribute one input to five or more outputs.
This might not even make sense. If not, I apologize. I really need some sleep.
EDIT: Derp. I could just move/rebuild the factory somewhere else, place the distribution pipe up off the ground, and have teleport pipes on each end, one attached to each Geothermal Generator.

Yes -- If you want more than 5 though, you want to have a distribution pipe connected to other distro pipes.
You can also use the GUI on the 1.9 distribution pipe and have a single line of them together.
So, DDDDDDDDC. First D has (say) 9 green/1 white/0 everything else. Second D has 8 green/1 white/0 everything else. Repeat until you reach zero.
There's a screenshot a couple of pages back showing how to do it. Works like a charm. I have a self feeding glowstone factory because of it. Filled a chest in about 2 hours of play and now the excess goes to the diamond factory :smile.gif:
Zeldo, your code on google indicates a bug fix that's got me quite badly (insertion pipes don't handle stacks properly). I don't believe this fix is in the 1.9 version you've released, and using the dev build corrupted my world pretty badly (NPE fun causing chunk resets FTW!- I didn't have a recent backup either but have since rebuilt).
Do you know if/when you'll be getting round to releasing it? Currently I'm trying to make a factory a la Direwolf (hi!) but with steam engines for higher speed, but the coal feeder insertion pipes drop coal on the ground because the stack won't fit completely in the engine (it tops off the engine first, but then doesn't send the rest along the pipe- it just falls out, something that looks fixed in the code).

Cool :smile.gif: -- Also that system you describe for sorting is definitely nice and more compact, kudos to Peterix :smile.gif:.
Warning on steam engines -- I don't believe they can be cooled in anyway, and WILL explode if left to run long enough on just a wooden pipe (not sure if harder machines don't cause explosions, haven't really tested it). I recommend redstone engines running at the yellow/red blinking stage, or setting up a redstone timer to pulse the steam engine. -- A 1-2 second pulse will cause the steam engine to run, but not generate heat. (Again i've not built this yet, but saw it in use in other videos).

So far (>2 hours playtime) I've not had the two steam engines on wooden pipes do anything but stay blue. One thing to note : they don't work to pull stacks from alchemical chests. They only pull stacks from normal chests. The adv. insertion pipe has a problem with alch chests too ( it looks like xenophobe hasn't inplemented the inventory query interface quite right so buildcraft inentory functions don't quite work right - they only work for the single item interface ( in and out )).
Hey peterix that setup sounds incredible. I've only got 20 GSAgg but it's self sustaining at any number just do a 3 output to 1 returned feedback loop ( and split your glowstone to dust ). Your glowstone dust in the system will stay completely constant. I only have the seed dust residual in my system :smile.gif:

Also, as a workaround to the stacks issue I am staging coal in a chest that is pumped by a redstone engine. The single items works nicely with the insertion pipe.

Sorry, my Hard Drive was bad and I had to replace it. I will have a new dev up tonight with this fix and a few other things.
Note to anyone that posted a bug while I was out, post it in the issues section like stated at the top of my OP. I can't keep track of who solved what without it like that.

Sorry zeldo, but i cant seem to get a good dev build downloaded... its always corrupted, so im gonna wait it out until you get a regular download set up... thanks for all your hard work..
