We stand for 99% uptime atleast.
We really need users to enjoy the server as much as they can.
And how do we do that?
We have a server hosted 24/7 capable of holding 40 people at once.
This is to reduce lagg and make sure enough people can enjoy the server.




We want to keep the Plugin rate down. Only plugins that the community wants are used.
Best thing is, all these heavy plugins that support SQL will be installed by SQL.
Making the server a lot less laggy.
The mods we currently have installed are:
LogBlock (Griefer protection, rollback and block info. Running trough SQL)
Spout (Needed with LogBlock, will not be used to change game play)
Essentials (To get those essentials. Yaknow?)

These will not ruin your game play at all. It is still the original Minecraft feel. We promise.


The server has PVP disabled.
Simply because its annoying to get killed with an inventory full of diamonds. We don't like it, our users don't like it.. So we don't use it.


A server that listens!
If you want something changed, you can put up a thread on our forums and we will listen to you.
Because a server that doesn't listen to its users is a server that sucks.

Just outside of siera is an amazing tower, the tower of the mages.

As any other (big) server, we need money to stay alive. But we want to be a free game. Thats why we set up a donation link for our users to support us. TheWoE.net doesn't make money and doesn't charge anyone for the use of its services, meaning that we don't have a huge server with hundreds of player slots available. Ladies and Gentlemen,

We present you the first ever Spleef Cup here on worldofender.com, currently we're gathering contestants. If you want to play aswell, please contact Buraz either via Forum PM or in-game.

Rules:

- Both contestants use a diamond shovel
- The goal is to mine the blocks under your oponent, causing him to fall down
- Isolating yourself on an island-like structure of the field results in a foul and may increase the game's time by one minute. A technical foul would be using that technique to specifically to increase time, in which case the oponnent wins a point.

How is each match played?

- Each match has a duration of 5 minutes.
- The time is stopped while the stage is being rebuilt.
- Each time the player makes the oponent fall he recieves a point.

When is each match played?

- We understand that not everyone lives in the same timezone, nor does everyone have an equal amount of free time. As such there are no fixed dates for the matches, there's only an order of matches that need to be played, whenever this should be is up to the 2 players competing against each other.

What is the format of the cup?

- As opposed to the advancement system of a generic tournament, we use a table system. In other words, everyone plays everyone twice, 2-8 fixtures at a time (depending on the size of the contestant list) including a rematch. The higher up on the table you are, the better.

- Points are counted as following: A win equals 3 points, a draw is one point and a loss gives you no points at all.

What are the prizes?

- 1st place 10k and written down name in the hall of fame.
- 2nd place 5k
- 3rd place 1k

Other awards include:
- Best scorer, 1k. Awarded to the player who made the most opponents fall.
- Best defense, 1k. Awarded to the player who fell the least.
