Yet another topic, but this one should stay for a while.

X-Ray

X-ray as the name says is a tool that makes selected blocks transparent letting you see what you want. You can use it to find needed materials, check out whats wrong with your redstone circuit and more.

The mod comes with 3 funtions:
Xray-> "x" key
Brightness-> "c" key ; Press once to highlight mobs or press twice for everything. 3th time resets to default
Cave finder-> "v" key
You can change the hotkeys in the Controls menu(Yes, the games one).

You can change the blocks you want to show/hide in the menu(ctrl+x).
Red - hidden
Transparent - shown
You change it with ENTER.

Forge merged files are compatible with the recommended forge release.

Or Damn That Done Button. A simple mod which changes the position of the "Done" button in the controls menu. After instaling it, that damn button goes to the center bottom of the screen.

Deleted the old and buggy releases from the download list.

Thank you again sir! I've been looking all over for your thread. Any ideas why it kept going away?
Also, anyway by chance you could for SMP to possible be disabled via the server? Lets say, once the player it connects it sends the command /xray to check to see if the server has a plugin like CF Banner on Bukkit, which I'm sure they'll be happy to work with you on it. The reason I ask this, I own a fairly populated server, but I don't want my players to use xray as it is survival for our main map. I only use it myself on the server to watch people attempting to use it and to look for hidden things, like automated farms, that aren't allowed on my server.

I only heard that plugins have alot in common with mods but I've never made nor was intrested in the first ones. I would have to contact the creators of such mods and check how their plugins work and each passing day I have less free time(enrolled at a university).
