I found a 1.0 seed that works. It's as follows:
Four, oh four.
The entrance is on the side of the swamp biome in the water. Once you go in, you walk about 10 blocks forward to a major waterfall down into a cave system with ravines. I'll go on my 1.0 jar and generate a world.
I've gotten so Addicted to this map. Died horrifically fast my first two attempts but this last one is still going. So far I have:
Zombie: 2 each
Skeleton: 5 each
Spider: 5 each
Creeper: 10 each
Enderman: 15 each
Zombie Pigman: 10 each
Ghast: 20 each
Wood plank: A pat on the back.
Iron: 5
Gold: 10
Lapis Lazuli: 15
Diamond: 30 All 5 (Yes, 5) blocks next to each other: 15 points
Complete Iron and Gold Armor Set: 10/20
30 wheat in 1 stack: 15 points
Guard Duty: Go back to where you entered the cave and eliminate or nullify the 2 dungeon spawners. Can be done when you first enter the cave if you're feeling brave. 30 points
Greener Grass: Take a trip to the Nether. 15 points
Working on Center of Attention but I wouldn't call it a base yet.
Living Dangerously: Play on hard difficulty. 1.5x point total.
The one thing I'd want for this is to be able to get rid of the fog. When you're down so low you cant hardly see any of the enormous cave above you, so how massive this place is is lost at first glance. I'll keep my eye out for a mod that changes that, and hopefully the opocolypse mod is updated to 1.8 so you'll die if you stay on the surface too long.
I think you would already know this by now, but if you don't: Optifine can be tweaked to remove fog, including bedrock level fog. Just thought I should let you know, and maybe you can add to the OP post.
tried it in 1.4.7, came up with a challenge for it
PHAROAH SAUCY'S REVENGE
you spawn in a snowy forest and have one day to gather resources, when night falls, immediately stop gathering resources go to the pyramid at 42, 154
story tidbit
pharoah saucy is ticked because archaeologists keep making fun of his name. so he's decided it's time to get even, he seals you in the pyramid and gives you an ultimatum: "YOU CANNOT LEAVEUNLESS YOU MAKE IT OUT THROUGH THE CAVES BELOW.... IF YOU CAN FIND THEM. BWA HA HA HA....
seal yourself in with smooth sandstone (feel free to connect the upper levels of the pyramid and obelisks with 1x2 passages, I did this. Also, feel free to hack in about 16 torches with which to light the pyramid and obelisks, THESE CANNOT BE USED IN THE CAVES AND CANNOT BE BROKEN ONCE PLACED). after this you can only mine down in the main chamber of the pyramid untill you hit a cave (there are caves down there, I have checked, if you are having trouble finding them then disarm the trap and deepen the pit by roughly 10-20 blocks, don't bother digging out, just down) then run by normal 404 challenge rules with these additions:
LOOKS LIKE STONE, BUT IT'S NOT: other than the floor of the main chamber and the walls and floor of the trapped chamber, you cannot mine blocks that are part of the pyramid, probably wouldnt be wise anyway
EXCEPTIONS: if, like me, you are ocd and just cannot stand the broken stairs in the obelisks go ahead and fix them, also, if you have redpower, industrialcraft, or another mod that uses solar power you can widen the hole at the top of the pyramid to a 3x3 and fill it with glass (or reinforced glass, if you so desire) but this is the ONLY skylight you can have (protip: redpower solar panels are technically transparent, and so are microblocks, industrialcraft solar panels are not transparent. use this knowledge to your advantage and be smart about your solar arrangements)
the power by which the pharoah sealed you in the temple has affected the landscape around the pyramid, if you do find a tunnel to the surface that opens into a plains biome, desert biome, or snow biome, you cannot use it, it must be sealed, if a tunnel surfaces in any other biome, it's probably safe to exit the tunnels BUT: when you leave the cave system the challenge ends and you must tally up your score.
edit: (OPTIONAL TORCH RULE) self lighting torches? i wish: you can only place torches if you have a flint and steel in your inventory (use it once every time you place a torch, redstone torches are excluded from this)

For a lovely Grand Total of: 448.5
And still I continue! Made a few videos, though the first two are failed attempts. http://www.youtube.com/user/Renfailed/featured
Still a challenge in 1.2.5, so keep at it!

EDIT:
Proof?
Fail to you, sir
