im going to try this for 1.9 pre-release 3

EDIT: I deleted the cave sounds and then when i start the game then quit after going back to the ambient folder the sound files is back and mod was still installed and i didnt put any UPDATE.txt im using 1.9 pre-release 3

I like how in the video, every time Marshal cursed he opened a chest to drown out the sound. Good try but it didn't work. . I wanna listen to some Metallica while I'm Pwning some 's. Now I have a reason to make a Jukebox.

Nice mod. It worked well. However, the mod seems to stop the map from working and no music sounds were played.

Fantastic mod, I'm currently working on a sound pack for my Photo Realism HD texture pack.
This should prove very interesting as I've already made fantastic new sounds for most of the game.

Minecraft crashes if it can't find the sounds, this mods disables the sound from being downloaded and overwriting existing files. i suggest putting UPDATE.TXT in your minecraft folder, if you hear every sound in the game then you can remove it again and install the sound pack your desire.

ps: i will release an update soon that fixes the crash error.

I'd tried deleting the meta-inf folder, toggleing the Read Only, copying, deleting, paste'ing and anything else I could find on the forums to change sounds, but to no avail. BUT. Thanks to YOU I can finally play with a female hurt-sound. The first thing I did after installing it was to hug a cactus. That's just the kind of mod that I needed. ^^ A thousand thanks and my gratitude!
