I am shutting the server down.
On Friday, May 25, I will be shutting the server down until the release of 1.3.
The server is not recieving enough traffic, nor is it recieving enough money to balance out the cost of running it.
However, this is not entirely negative. When Aquor reboots, it will have a far better spawn area than it does now, and a greater range of plugins and possibly a few mods to enhance the Large Biomes world type gameplay.

Brand new map! The fact that the world was becoming stale, combined with the problem of a large amount of items being gained through illegitimate means, led me to generate a new world for the sake of improving the overall gameplay. Join now and stake your claim in the new world!

Overview
Here at Aquor, we try to create a fun, friendly, yet competitive environment. We use a short list of gameplay-modifying plugins to enrich the server gameplay. We pride ourselves on admin diligence and fairness. The admins do not spawn items except in compensation in the event of a cheater, as a means to test a plugin, or an admin accidentally damaging your work when they are working on the server. We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating or circumventing bans, and we do not hesitate to ban anyone that is breaking the rules. Despite this, we are also forgiving. Most rule-breakers will get a second chance if they fill out a ban appeal, and most will be accepted. We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to try out our server.Unlike most public servers, Aquor does not run 24/7. Instead, it runs from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST. This is to encourage building above ground and forming larger, long-term teams
Outstanding features:
1.) The server only runs from 7:00AM to 8:00PM to allow for above ground bases and more player interaction, as well as larger and more permanent teams and bases!
2.) This server has an adventure map built in! Scattered throughout the world are ruins and temples containing traps, puzzles, and other challenges. If you can find them and brave their dangers, however, you will find rewards and a hint as to the location next one!
3.) Realistic ore generation! Instead of hundreds of tiny pockets of ores showing up everywhere, we have rare, gigantic ore veins! This encourages people to set up permanent bases and trade with each other for resources! In addition to this, Cows have been made to drop more leather and a bit less meat to make leather armor a viable alternative to iron.
4.) Aquor has only one admin and a few, hand-picked moderators to manage the server. While you may think that this is too few, we are skilled and have the necessary tools to manage the server effectively!
5.) A border of 3,000 blocks! This enourages player interaction as opposed to hermiting and being a recluse.
Minigames!
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, a zombie survival minigame takes place! Try to delve into the ruins of an abandoned research facility created by an ancient race, surviving the undead and other beasties as you try to turn the power back on! How long can you last?
Other minigames will be added as they are created.
Lore
The Aquor were the first to colonise this land. They were forged from water, and as such lived near it. They constructed grand cities and towns composed of carved stone blocks and materials from the Nether. They were powerful and prosperous.
However, a force far older than them existed in the world they claimed. It created the zombies and skeletons from the remnants of the dead, and it turned the enormous spider mounts of the Aquor against their masters. It manifested itself in the form of a dark, sickly, amethyst colored fog rolling over the land at night.
It corrupted all that it touched, turning its victims into violent, psychotic monstrosities. It stretched their limbs, elongated their bodies, and coated them in a black shell. It brought the foliage of the jungle to life, turning it into an explosive, mobile beast that tears the structures of the Aquor into rubble.
The Aquor quickly fell to this dark force, for they had never fought a similar monster. Their strongholds buried in the depths of the earth were quickly overcome, and their race rapidly became extinct.
In a final act of defiance against their enemy, the Aquor sealed the darkness into obelisks of glass around their world. Its followers continued to roam the land and rose every night, leading them to suspect that it still had hold over the land and would eventually free itself. They created a final obelisk that acted as a gateway into their universe in order to allow entry of future settlers to fight this darkness. They created the Testificates in the hopes that they would be of help to future settlers.
The ruins of their civilization lay scattered around the world, protected by the obelisks within, rendering them indestructible. Find these and defeat their challenges to reap your reward and prepare to fight the darkness.
Plugins:
The plugins that we currently use are:
1.) Worldedit/worldguard, to protect the spawn point and other important server structures.
2.) Borderguard, to limit the world size to 2,000 blocks in every direction.
3.) Other administration tools, such as permissions, vanish, and commandbook.
4.) Nethrar, to properly link nether portals to each other.

Rules. Please follow them, or be subject to banning:
1.) No flying, X-ray, etc. It gives an unfair advantage and is not vanilla.2.) No asking for free items, teleports, etc. You will be banned if you continue to ask.
3.) No asking to be OP. This is a bannable offense if you ask for than twice.
4.) No profane language or excessive swearing. Abbreviations such as STFU or GTFO are okay, but no profanity.
5.) you must speak English a majority of the time in my server. If you are speaking a different language, I do not know what you are saying and I have no way to moderate you.
6.) No logging out during combat, or to avoid combat! It is not allowed! This includes teleporting to spawn!
7.) Put "grand organ" in your ban appeal if you wish for it to be accepted!
8.) Spawn killing is allowed, but no spawn camping. It is not fair to players that have nothing when a heavily armed player keeps killing them.
9.) No racist structures, sexual buildings, or any other profane constructions.

mob eggs:
In addition to becoming a subscriber, you can also buy mob eggs to get an advantage. Use hostile mobs to attack an enemy base, or use passive mobs to get farmable animals into a hard-to-reach area! Just for fun, you could buy villager eggs to populate your town!
