Minor lighting bug where the torchlight affects the chest nearby differently depending on viewing angle. I Haven't tested this further but it may just be because I'm on my laptop using integrated GFX. The state of the bug is pretty consistent and I can walk away and come back and it will continue this behavior. (This occurred in SSP)
Your Computer Specs and Operating System: AMD 1055T OC @ 3.4, 8gb 1600mhz RAM, AMD HD Radeon 6870

Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: Happens everytime.
Cause: loading any world, pre or post 1.8 or trying to join any server
Bug: Loading world/joining server cause normal terrain generation and loading page to come up as usual, then when it's finished loading there is a black screen, several seconds pause, the a white flash as an error message opens for too short a time to read even one letter. After that; endless black screening until minecraft is quit.
Can you repeat this bug?: As many times as you can be bothered to open minecraft, load a world, wait, see the blackscreen, quit minecraft and repeat.
What issues does the bug cause: I am completely unable to play minecraft no matter what I try, Have wasted at least half an hour of my life that I'll never get back and am now extremely annoyed at Notch!!

Version of Minecraft: 1.8
SSP or SMP: SSP (maybe SMP as well. Someone to test this out please)
Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, x64, Intel Core i7-2600, AMD Radeon HD 6870, 8 GB RAM.
Repeatable: Yes
Issue: Stone brick stairs dropping cracked, mossy, and 2 types of stone bricks
Specific conditions: It depends on the direction the stairs are placed. South for normal, East for akward stone brick (it has the same block texture as normal but it wont stack with the rest), North for mossy, West for cracked.
Your Computer Specs and Operating System: AMD 1055T OC @ 3.4, 8gb 1600mhz RAM, AMD HD Radeon 6870 (My server is not run from my computer, but from a dedicated server that I rent)
Can you repeat this bug: Yes
What issues does the bug Cause: When ever I add myself and my admins to the OP list, and start the server, our names with capital letters are changed to lowercase and I am unable to do OP commands.
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: Happens everytime.
Your Computer Specs and Operating System: Win Vista 64
Can you repeat this bug: Yup
What issues does the bug Cause: Flying toggle in Creative Mode unresponsive/unreliable. Using the double tap for jumping does not always start flying mode, and getting down from flying mode is almost impossible. I don't know if it's the horrible lag that is causing the delay, but this is completely unplayable in this state. Currently I'm stuck at the top of the sky, because double tapping jump doesn't turn flying off.
Minecraft version 1.8 (map generated in beta 1.1 or 1.2; I can't remember exactly. :tongue.gif: )
SSP
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor Intel Core i3 (Quad) M330 @ 2.13Ghz
Repeatable = yes, Persistent
Inability to jump over terrain/building projects
When touching a vertical surface (in front of you), the "Jump" key sometimes fails to respond to input, especially when one is trying to jump over it or onto it. Very annoying and potently dangerous bug as it could hamper escape from a dangerous mob. (I play on peaceful usually so this is more of an annoying inconvenience than anything else.)
May have something to do with the way movement input is currently being parsed/prioritized in the code, but that's only an educated guess... :/
Your Computer Specs and Operating System: 4.00 GB RAM, Intel Core2 Duo CPU; Windows 7 Professional
Can you repeat this bug: yes, just start a new game, make sure you have visible fog (turn render distance down), find a spider or an endermen and let them sit in the fog at the edge of your view.
What issues does the bug Cause: Barely affects gameplay in that its easier to spot endermen and spiders from a distance
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: just start a new game, make sure you have visible fog (turn render distance down), find a spider or an endermen and let them sit in the fog at the edge of your view. The spider / endermen will appear a bright white color and will be easy to see in the fog, unlike skeletons, creepers, and zombies. (I am not sure if this is also the case for cave spiders or silverfish, I haven't tested that)
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: After I create a new world (i've done both survival and creation) it loads up the game like normal, it then goes black screen for a few seconds, then flashes white very fast that has some text on it, too fast to make out what it says, it then goes back to black screen and stays black screen.
Having this problem as well. Hopefully it can be fixed soon
Your Computer Specs and Operating System:
Win 7
HP laptop, built in video card
Intel core duo processor 1.83 GHz
64 bit operating system
3 Gb of RAM
Can you repeat this bug:
It happens ALL THE TIME.
What issues does the bug Cause:
My hand flashes black and then back to regular lighting at random; constantly. This only occurs when my hand is empty so far, so I may just always have to carry something in my hand to remedy this.

Think you can give me a screenshot of this? in f5 mode? Might make it more visible and easy to explain. :smile.gif:
This happened when I grew a mushroom with bonemeal. There used to be a tree near where I grew it, so I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it.
