i dont know why but it keeps saying im trying to run the windows .exe one of the latest one in .jar mode. i tried putting the commands in many ways, through shorcut commands, through a batch file, it jsut keeps tellin me to add noverify but not to where. all im doin is trying to run the .exe freshly downloaded.
Edit: Okay found out that this only works with vanilla Minecraft and vanilla worlds, you should write that in the main post or did i overread it?
nah i read that and still tested it, it running in jar mode has nothing to do with a custom Minecraft.jar. if that ends up being the case it just doesn't render the map, the version before it opened fine with a custom jar this one just refuses to open normally and wants to open in Jar mode.

Works fine for me, with a vanilla jar. If you have mods installed, it MAY work, depending on what those mods change in the game.

Just use MC Edit for now.
only ones im using is NEI, Bibliocraft (adds bookshelves and such) and Tale of Kingdoms 2. but i mean i took the entire .minecraft folder, downloaded a fresh vanilla jar and it just keeps wanting to run in Jar mode. only solution i can think of is just know where to put the -noverify command so i can just open it as is since my problem might not be resolved till the next update.

Strange, what OS are you on? If you're on windows, you can create a batch file to run it, look back a few pages in this thread, I think someone posted the info a while ago. I forget the exact command line. If you're on mac or linux, I have no idea. Also, have you updated your java recently? Might want to try that, just a guess though.
Thank you for the suggestion. I checked out the thread, and it is not what I want. I was perfectly happy with AMIDST. I just want the right click feature restored.

Please don't get me wrong, I love Amidst, but is it just my imagination or over the last year has something happened to the MC world generator to cause Amidst to show temples and villages that don't exist in the actual world constructed by MC?
Or is the MC world generator doing something to the world after the fact that is removing some world features?

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.

I have noticed that when temples/villages don't show up, it is mostly in places where the generator will not put them (biome edges, over rivers, etc...).

Great program, Skidoodle! After using it for a while, there is one thing that irks me though:
When you zoom the map, it can get very confusing because the top-left corner stays "pinned", and the center of the map moves with it. Would it be possible to change this so that the center stays in the center when zoomed. I believe that this is pretty standard behaviour for applications that zoom.
Will it be possible to add a horse locator feature?
I am also interested in feedback about horse spawn locations being included on the map. Is that a feature you would like to include or are planning to include?
ive also got the same issue with moving the player.

A lot of us have this problem. Any fix in the works? Please?

It seems to be busted or removed for some reason, use MC Edit for now.
