Hey, I couldn't really find anything on the web or in the forums, so I thought I'd ask: How do I change the default resolution?

Some monitors won't change the resolution just enlarge the picture, there's a difference.

Assassians4hire has a mod that makes it so that the GUI doesn't resize when you resize the window and Ive made a custom Executable made in Autohotkey that runs the game and then changes the window size to the values in the minecraft.ini file (Is created if it doesn't exist)

BUT at the moment the no-resize GUI mod is yet to be updated for the latest Minecraft so if you just want the window to be a certain size look here =]

Changing the default size of the Minecraft window would be REALLY helpful when using FRAPS. I can set my computer's resolution to a nice 480p and then go fullscreen, but for some reason FRAPS just doesn't record it. I'd help if I could just keep my everyday resolution, but change the windowed size without guesswork to 480p. A perfect size for Minecraft on youtube.

Bumping this because i want to change the default resolution for minecrafts window BESIDES just going fullscreen. Thats retarted that there still isnt a way to do this. I am filming a video and i want a set widescreen for specific scenes and its almost impossible to get that widescreen right every time i re open minecraft. Is there seriously no way to do this?
