- My friend has this problem on his computer - when he tried to play Classic it came up with that Java circle swirly loading thing followed by 'Minecraft - Switching Applet' then a blank screen.
- Same thing happens on Google Chrome and IE9 (running Windows 7; Java 6 update 31).
- Have tried deleting the www.minecraft.net folder in the Temp folder, still get the blank screen after it re-downloads the files.
- Can't delete the .minecraft folder in the AppData/Roaming folder since it's not there as he has only played Minecraft Classic.
Would making a new account help?
