(This is mainly a map but we do have a server as it's been requested.)

News:
I'm glad that people have shown interest in this by donating BUT don't stop because of that, if you stop donating the server will eventually be taken down because we need to renew the quarterly subscribtion. Also, more money will lead to a better quality server. Don't forget that those who donate will get priviliges such as being able to teleport, being able to set a home, being able to pick their own titles (to an extent, some titles will not be accepted)
and be able to see builds beyond Hogwarts such as "Diagon Alley", "Leaky Cauldron", "Malfoy Manor" and "Ministry of Magic" BUT the donation has to be over 5 EURO or whatever that is equal to in your currency.

I'm not that experienced with PayPal but if you send me a message when you've donated saying exactly how much you donated and also sending me your email address and username (ingame) I will be able to check that you were the one who donated and I will also make sure that I send you a message when the server is up so that you wont be able to miss it.

Information:

Welcome, this is the official page of PotterCraft, an accurate representation of the Harry Potter wizarding world. I can guarantee you thats it's the one that's the closest to the original out there. We use the movies to make the basics, the games to go into further details and the books to make the unseen seen.

History:

Basically, our friend Nick (FamilyEpisodes) started the project. Due to a lot of school work he has not been able to help us much. So it left pretty much me and Pedro to build. After a while we thought the process of it all was really slow so we started recruiting. The recruits are: MuckyD121, Notaro and Nithrai. I'm now making this forum post to get some more publicity, support and creative critism so it'll be a very succesful project.

Come to this thread often, have discussions on it and you WILL be one of the first to try the full release out when it's finished.

We are also using a customized texture pack, originally johnsmith but as said re-edited by Musicdudez to get the best feel.

It's because it's diagonal. Some parts of the castle needs to be diagonal so other parts can be vertical. If we had made the Entrance courtyard, the Great Hall and the Grand staircase vertically we'd have to make the rest of the castle diagonal.

The other castles was 100% vertical which means that their castle is incorrect.

Honestly, it's not going to happen. Only OUR team will work on this project and we wont recruit anyone if the person isnt skilled at building in Minecraft.
