Ruins Mod

First, it's my first mod and it's still not finished. Have you ever thought about that there was any civilization before you spawned? In original Minecraft wasn't, but I've made a mod where are the ruins of ancient civilizations. I must confess it's a bit inspirated by Notch's 1.8 screen where were ruins.

And I asked, why shouldn't be ruins in 1.7.3 too? This is just first version but I'll update it and I'll add more types of ruins and this things. I hope you will enjoy it.

Also you can find some treasure inside of the ruins, so good luck :D I think, I'll make some commented video soon.

There are lots of mods like this, but this still looks pretty good.
Studies have shown that 843,902,635 people are too lazy to read this number.

That's possible. I've tested it only with Single Player Commands and it worked.

Yee, maybe it's the Aether mod, or Mo's Creatures... :/

Awasome mod man, but i think the ruins are too common.

I think you should put like tools in them and maybe ores, so that when you do find one it is really worth finding.

Right now all you get is most basic supplies you can get, but if the are rarer and have BETTER supplies like iron, stone tools, wooden tools, bones, coffee beans, fishing rods, and so on...

Well you could make like a REALLY rare ruin that may have DIMONDS and gold in it (that would be really worth finding!)

But for now they are too common i got to a field and found like a hundred of them and there was no interesting loot :(

Yes, it's exactly that thing. I really thought about tools in chest but then I realized that it'd be really simple and unfair to other players, especially when you spawn near any ruin.
But thanks for idea, it's really useful for me. And I promise I'll make it more uncommon ;)

You should add bigger, deeper, mysterious ruins. That would be cool.

the simplicity of this type is ruin is very good.
i like how simple it is. but its better if some ruins like this have stairs going down. thats creepy. :P chests would be below ground too
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
