The Overworld has been bathed in demonic beings, led by the infamous Herobrine. The only place left to go are the dark caves and lava-filled tunnels of the Underworld. Though, if one is prepared, he or she may prevail, and create light in the darkest of places.
In this Challenge, one has 3 days to prepare, then, on the dawn of the fourth day, you, the traveler, must burrow undeground, as far as you can go, and create life. A safehaven to live in when the place otherwise would be lifeless.
Create a Biodome at bedrock level, and mining tunnels that strech out in all directions. Inside your dome, create a house and small forest. Have a mushroom farm, a wheat farm, and a sugarcane farm. Make patches of grass with enough room for peacefull mobs to spawn. Finally, go to the Nether and collect enough glowstone to create a sun glyph on the ceiling. When you have created a dome that meets these qualifications, feel free to complete these side objectives:
:Aquire a Double Chest of wheat
:2 Cakes
:2 Enough leather for a full set of armor
:2 stacks of Iron
:Small Chest of Fish
:10 stacks of Wood
:Full Iron tool/armor set.
:12 stacks of cobble.
NEW!: Create a stone bunker over your entrance to the Overworld with walls 3 blocks think of any tier material, stone or higher. For the entrance to the outside, a small room with Iron Doors on both sides. Think of it as an Airlock. Optional task, +5 to those who have completed it.
50 points for main objective group, 10 extra for each side objective. 20 points for staying underground for at least 20 Minecraft days, and 2 points for each diamond you find in your mining tunnels. Submit your scores, and I'll add them to this post.
You have spent years in your dome. In this time, Steve Jobbs, Aided by his Army of Daleks, exterminated Herobrine and his army. Feel free to return to the surface.
On-topic: Sounds... alright. I agree, make a point system, and add some more restrictions. 5 days seems like a lot for me honestly, unless you are doing those side-challenges. And the side-challenges. They seem like things that have to be done on the surface. Shouldn't they be underground things instead of overground? The challenge should begin when you are underground, not when you start preparing.

No you didn't, because TNT damage doesn't stack.
See my About Me section for info about me.

The point is to create places peaceful mobs spawn on the bottom of the earth. A large patch of grass, some trees, a few farms. Everything needed, at the very bottom of Minecraft.

Sounds a bit cliched, but other than that, a pretty good challenge. I may or may not try it but it looks pretty good.
I needed a reason for Steve/Everyone who plays the challenge to go underground.
A large, circular area filled with living things. Something like that.
-Like adding points if you complete the challenge without using weapons(swords&bow). Deduct points if you die, etc.
How is you make circle in minecraft :tongue.gif:
How is you use grammar in real life :tongue.gif:

If its an underground dome then why would you need glass? You could just dig it out.
Although it does bring up the point of certain resources like sand that you can't collect underground.
Probably will try, but on multiplayer with some friends :biggrin.gif:.
As long as you stay underground.
