Prety sure no-one even dosent know from where that technic drama even started.
Some people just need to shove it always under other people noses.

OT:
Looking foward what new maintainer is going 2 do with it.
Right now it dosent work well with bc 2.2.11
Might be other mods also. Not sure tho.

Patched client that should work with latest BuildCraft 2.2.x:

MineFactory Reloaded:
MineFactoryReloaded_Client_1.4.0p.zip

Power Converters:
PowerConverters_Client_1.3.0p2.zip

These work with the "regular" server version of the mod.

And yes, I have the permission of power crystals to release this. :)

A couple reasons really.

First off, this whole actually having a job thing means I have way less time than I did before. Eight hour office job plus an hour commute each way (though I do plan to move).

I won't be updating the mods here anymore, but I'll leave this thread open for any discussion about them that people want to have. It's been a great few months, and all of you fans have been wonderful, but it's just time for me to move on. I'll not really be watching this thread but I may (may) answer PMs and I'll probably be in the technic pack IRC because those guys are the best and deserve all your support.

Thanks for all the support and hopefully the game and its mods will only continue to get better even after I leave. Have fun!

Can anybody explain why,i cnt for example if i make steel ingot,take em out of crafting table,just installed the mod..?

There's issues? Do tell, I haven't noticed anything here and i'm running both of those with 2.2.11 just fine.

it crashes with the most recent version of forge

I am going to miss MineFactory. I have used Forestry mod, but making dirt and mining for fertilizer is a bit of over kill. MineFactory was simple and easy to set up. I have looked at the Technic Pack, but a lot of the mods in the pack were one or two versions behind. Technic Pack might think about using NEI (never enough items) instead of TMI. RedPower, BuildCraft, MineFactory and RailCraft do every thing I want to do. If RedPower ever get some sort of mining equiptment, I might drop BuildCraft. I have dropped TMI for NEI for when I feel creative. I like to keep my MineCraft play simple as possible with as much automation as possible.

You need industrial craft to complete that package then. You dont know what you're missing out on. Technik pack is for noobs, Make your own pack for yourself. More manageable.

this means the BC 2.x versions not the 3.X versions correct?
