[AtomicStryker]

Simply Hax, now too available for MCPatcher! No more fussing about with class files and that pesky META-INF folder, just unzip the archive into your .minecraft directory and run mcpatcher!




Old ModLoader version description

These are plain cheating modifications, which, unlike pretty much all other cheat mods, do not interfere with notch classes. Thus, they should be compatible with anything that isn't another cheat mod doing the same thing.


The only requirement is Risugamis Modloader..

Simply Hax Inventory:

Keep your items on death! Works SSP only for obvious reasons.
Configuration: None




Simply Hax Flying:

By default press "R" to start flying, ascend with SPACE, descend with LCONTROL. Also allows you to run faster by holding LSHIFT.


Key bindings and max flight speed can be configured in auto-created file under /mods/SimplyHaxFlying.txt
Works in SMP with the usual restrictions.



Simply Hax Vision:

By default press "I" to make close walls disappear from your sight. Extremely useful for finding cave systems!
Key bindings and disappear range can be configured in auto-created file under /mods/SimplyHaxVision.txt


[Only old ModLoader version:]
Since it uses the same 'hack' as Zombe's it will override Zombe's if you have both installed for some obscure reason. The difference is mine doesn't modify Notch classes :3

Instructions:

Mcpatcher:
unzip the archive into your .minecraft directory and run mcpatcher
Install tutorial with pictures in case you can't follow the written instructions.

ModLoader:
Just drop the zip in your mods folder.

Problem fixes:

Risugamis Modloader is required (for older versions). Follow its instructions.


Troubleshooting
If you're having problems, download this (windows only) and run it to see the error. If you post a problem that's related to an error without an error report, it will be ignored.

Other than that, this isn't so bad, except Zombe's modpack already has both of these "cheats" in it. I think SPC does too (I know it has Fly mod)

The entire point of this is the same functionality WITHOUT modifying notch classes. Zombe's and SPC are incompatible with many other mods. This isnt.

flying seems bugged.... sometimes it takes multiple presses to work/ turn off

I suppose i need to change how the delay works. Right now it checks ever .2 seconds if R is pressed - i need to change it so that upon pressing R a .2 second timeout to the button is made.

The only reason I ever downloaded zombe or SPC was to fly, so this is a simple install, and compatible with everything!

EDIT: If I used Zombe only to fly and use the death chest, I'd get this instead, most likely. But I also use the Build Mod in Zombe's modpack...

Your mods are awesome AtomicStryker!

But flying is pretty bugged. Some times when holding LSHIFT and holding forwards, you go backwards fastly. And sometimes when i press the flying key it goes on then back off.

Do not press ... the button? ... what is this i dont even ... are you telling me you want another button that LOCKS the fly button .... o_O

Fly Mod: What a Fantastic Development & Testing tool!

Mouser X recommended your Fly Mod over in Robinton's Mods thread, in reference to it being a good one to use in conjunction with the Cubic Chunks Height Mod while it is in development. Primarily due to it's being compatible with anything since it doesn't overwrite any of notches code.

Zombe's mod pack isn't compatible with Cubic Chunks right now due to so many overlapping java classes. Single Player Commands /fly command does work fine, but it's interface and flying controls work very differently than yours, so this gives people a choice. Plus, some may not want anything other than the flying.

I don't use flying mods in my normal worlds, but they are critical for testing in Mods that are under development, which is NOT "cheating". Having a Fly Mod that only uses Modloader, which Cubic also uses, makes it an indispensable Development & Testing tool!

I will also be adding a link to here from my Higher Worlds Tutorial, in the Support Tools & Mods section.

[EDIT] You say your fly mod does work on SMP too. There is a test version of the Cubic Chunks Mod Server now. It is essentially Vanilla but with Cubic. We should be able to fly on it using your mod?

[EDITx2] I see you have a separate class for the Aether Inventory mod, I don't know yet if a special version would be needed for the Cubic Chunks Mod, I'll test it. But if one is, I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate one.
