After one long month of hard work, constant partying, and lots of TF2, we are finally able to release the BEST community/ collaboration texture pack in the history of Minecraft. What started out as a simple collaboration between a few inexperienced artists has quickly grown into a full out project with the intent of being the best collaboration pack you'll ever lay your eyes on. Jungles, vines, temples, and fucking tiki heads. What more would you want? So without further adieu, Leostereo, Lilyo, Thimontheluff, Galago, CowThing, and The Barinade (with help and support from Dustyboozer, Strdr, and Alanay) present to you ..... JUNGLE RUINS!

-You will need to download OPTIFINE (this will also fix the white spiders and endermen) or MCPATCHER in order to see the water and lava (soon to be animated!) and compass and watch.
-Most 1.9 texture are NOT YET COMPLETED and we are using the default as placeholders.
-We recommend you use MATMOS with this pack! It adds great atmosphere to the game.
-You can download the Rainforest Valley map HERE if you want to.
-Some of the textures are subjected to change soon and some are not fully completed yet
-Show your support by posting your suggestions and comments in the thread! (WARNING: Think before you post)

No but seriously, I wouldn't mind working on two things at the same time, I love making textures!

Edit: I suppose there are a few people who are most likely already qualified for this.

Hey! i LOVE this idea, i can do some item sprites
I usually dont use texture packs, if i do, i randomly make textures for my own use
so... uhhhm... yeah *searching in lots of minecraft folders to show my textures*

Lilyo you're as qualified as you can possibly be, those texutres were actually in the style I was hoping to work in! Like a detailed cartoony/pixelartish style.

Hmm, as I'm currently suggesting a color scheme based pixelartsy pack so I must ask if you've ever worked with pixelart or color schemes? Those things can be valuable to know.

Also, to all of you. Don't expect me to be the best artist and make a ton of awesome textures. I'm mostly the one keeping track of everything and such. But I have quite some experience with making textures so I know what I'm doing at least.

Your texture pack is not bad, but I don't think it's qualified enough for this. But it's not over yet, make some new textures and I'll judge on those instead. And remember to give me your best. :9

Well when I did my texture pack I did every block and item that I've done so far pixel by pixel, if that counts as pixel art
And for the most part I try to keep all blocks in a color pattern, like every block a lighter color so it blends well.

If you mean, for pixel art, doing items and pictures, I don't like doing it very much nor am I very good, but I do get lucky sometimes and get something that turns out nice

EDIT: I'm not very creative so you'll have to give me something to make
I pretty much wing it half the time and keep it if it looks good, restart if it doesn't

Go to deviantart and look for some pixelart tutorials there.

Check out this guys tutorials, they're amazing.
