The Nostalgia Project/NoBiomesX (by InsanityBringer) exists since 1.7.3. In 1.8 it received many new features, increasing mod size and changing almost everything, and became even more bloated in 1.0. So I took the mod and removed GUIAPI dependency and options that don't required for old generation. Then I added some new things, like support of new generator from 1.0, SMP, fixed some bugs etc.
