After only have my server for a few weeks and being that it was my first server i've ever purchased, they make it REALLY easy to use! I wanted to install certain mods onto my server and boy did I get them worldedit, worldguard, permissions, everything and it was as easy as clicking a button!

Hello everyone

I have been with maxgree for some time now, actually from back when they started. Maxgree is in my oppinion not a server host like any other out there. What makes them special is that they CARE about YOU. As any other new in business maxgree had some bugs as they started out. I often wrote to them to help them fix the problems, or to ask questions. I have yet not been answered later than 24 hours after i sent a mail. Often they even answer within about 6 hours. Quickly they got s good hang of it, and now i never encounter any bugs anymore.
My server runs perfectly without errors now.

Maxgree is also extremely flexible and like having constructive critics from their users. They are very open on input on how to improve even more. They have a huge amount of easy to install mods, placed at their admin controlpanel. You might look for a certain mod to install on Your Server. Its not there? Dont worry!
You can write a message for the supportteam with the name of the mod, and a link for it! Within short time you will see the mod on your list!

The response time and the support is FANTASTIC.
I have had a couple of servers the latest years. Often the hosts dont take much time for each user. Maxgree have everytime ive written, responded with good detail, and most of all, they are human . They talk to you as an equal and are very friendly. Of course that isnt what server hosting is about, but it sure makes you feel home!

Their website isnt a menace of confusing buttons, it is clean, professional and simple. You want create your server? Easy! You just click the products tab, and choose your size and speed! After that you can choose extra storage space, server type, and the best of all. YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CUSTOM SERVER NAME.

You can choose a custom server name for your liking ! For example my currently hosted server is Called
"Zelscrib.maxgree.com:*****" (I play under the name Zelthagor )

Anyways , as you have bought your server you will be granted permission to your own control panel. Here you download a lot of mods, use the server console and much more. Maybe you want worldguard on your server? You simply download it. And managing the worldguard options isnt difficult either Simply choose a txt. file you want to edit in the panel, and they have a built in text writer for you, so you can actually manage your whole server from the website without having to download and upload stuff all the time.

You have also got the option to make multiple worlds. Maybe you want to have your server as creative at one world, and survival in the other ?

Well here comes my conclusion haha
Maxgree is the simplest, most friendly and effective server host i have had.

Its your own choice, but I RECOMMEND MAXGREE :-)

(oh by the way, i noticed it says 1 post at my picture that of course spoils my credibility a bit but trust me, i am a regular player, who found a good host, i do not work for Maxgree )

Hi all

Ive been with maxgree for the past month myself and let me just say i am impressed at the response time and the simplicity of the control panel. From the get go i was looking for a small server at a good price for me and a few mates to build have a laugh. I came across maxgree through google and the prices were i thought very reasonable. so i sent them an email them with some quires about what could be done aswell as how come i had not really heard of them before. I got a reply within 15mins. It answered all my questions in a polite and professional manor. I then proceeed to purchase the server through paypal and within 5 minutes i was up and running!

The control panel you get is so simple and very very easy to use, and if you get stuck send them an email! They will reply very very quickly. On top of that there is already a bunch of server mods you can turn on and off at your will! If there is one that you want and it isn't on the list email the suggestion in and im sure they will sort it out for you! you can also edit all the server files manually from the text files.

To top it all off i have had no latency issues and neither have my friends. I have one guy all the way from Australia playing and it is sweet for him to join us.

So in a nutshell this has been the easiest and simplest server ive had and some of the fastest response's to tickets ive had. I am enjoying my server with maxgree and loving the price to!! So give them go even just for a month PLUS its probably cheaper than what your on now...

My group and I have soon played on the Maxgree servers for a month now. Before Maxgree we had an american provider. Due too many problems we had to cancel our account.

We have been much more happy to play on Maxgree's servers, which has a very good connection.
Compared to our earlier provider the Maxgree control panel is much more easy and also more detailed where its necessary(used McMyAdmin before).

The support is great, we have been answered up to some hours after our ticket.(even though it was sunday morning). We had a little problem, until we found out it was the well known XP Orbs bug, and maxgree helped us very quickly.
It is great finally to have a good provider, at a cheap price, with a good support!

My mate @Mikes100 (who commented above) recently bought his server, which we've been playing on daily. Im not new to minecraft, far far from it infact. And i have to say, it is the most consistently stable small time server i have ever played on, the latency is absolutely nonexistant. The mods are supported and explained, and everything is made incredibly simple, down to the smallest details. As far as I'm concerned there is no better option for the price for a small, stable and so well supported server. If you are in any doubt, dont be, there customer services will answer any questions you have quickly and you'll be just as impressed as their currrent consumers.

Maxgree has really helped with making choices on our Minecraft servers, because we only need the server for 2 people and most of the others had a minimum of 20 which costs way too much. Maxgree provided a minimum of 6 players which was perfect and I work out per average player slot Maxgree were cheaper than the other server hosting sites.
   Me and my friend have barely any lag issues and when there are its because we have done something stupid. When it does happen though we just contact the Maxgree e-mail and it is sorted within 5 - 10 minutes. The mod selection is amazing, all we have to do is click which mods we want from the selection and restart the server. Worlds are also easily selectable. I would think this is good for a server that costs £20 but this costs just above £4. I have renewed twice so far and think I'll be using Maxgree for a long time.
