[ADV] The Eye
Posted 04 August 2011 - 03:40 PM
Here's my third Adventure Map! I spent quite a while on this one (some things are more fun to build by hand!)
I have just updated the map to use internal notes, no more txt files! (Well they're still there, just optional). The notes will appear on maps throughout the adventure!
Anyway, screenshots and a download link are below. Comments are welcome!
The story is different from the usual Minecraft Adventure map stories I have been seeing lately (Archaeologist this, blah blah blah.) So hopefully you like it!
The Eye (v1.2)
Place the folder called "The Eye" in your Minecraft saves folder.
Open Minecraft, select Single Player - Select "The Eye"

If you are wondering how I made the maps, I used this AWESOME program created by lasarus - http://www.minecraft...om-ingame-maps/

Remember you can place any levers you find. There are usually signs that show you where they go.

One thing was I couldn't find the 'override' thing to open the door underground, I guess the dispenser is meant to drop it or something? I dunno, but I wasn't sure what to use, so I just took one of the redstone torches, but even that didn't open the door. :/

The map probably took so long to build because most of the floorplans are pretty spot on. As well as the ending...that took a lot of back and forward to get things working
Edit: The redstone is appearing for me, strange!
