With this mod, you can create sacks to summon mobs with.  You can summon EVERY SINGLE mob in the game.  Watch the video for information:




I built a creeper mob tower using this mod:
I get 7140 items/hr for 5 floors (assuming there are 3 spawners per floor).


As the game updates and new mobs are added to the game, I will add the new mobs to this mod.

Companion Sacks

Green Spider
The spider will follow you around and you can ride it by right-clicking it (no saddle required).  You can climb up walls with it.  However, it is hard to control.

DuraPig
This pig is hard as rock.  It has a storage compartment in it's back, so you can store your things in it, so it's like a portable chest.  It is very hard to kill.
The DuraPig has 50 hearts.

Sheepspawner
Every once in a while it drops 1 or 2 of any color wool.  It is weak and only has 5 hearts of health, though.  It may drop rare items when killed.

HOW TO INSTALL:
Put all of the files from the ZIP folder into your minecraft.jar, and then delete the META-INF folder in your minecraft.jar.  Make sure you have ModLoader!

HOW TO GET TO YOUR MINECRAFT FOLDER:
Windows: Go to the start menu and press the run button.  Then type in %appdata% and click OK.  And there's your .minecraft folder.

Like this mod alot!

Maybe you could add a way to tame the hostile mobs? Like combine a Summoning Sack with a diamond (or so) and then the mob won´t attack you when you summon him? :)

do the mobs always spawn on your head or did they only do it because you spawned them in 3rd person view?

Right now they do, but later I will make it so they spawn in a small area around you.

This is a spectacular idea for a mod, but I think a couple changes could make it more useful.
When I first saw it, I thought it would be really useful if you needed a certain drop from a mob, particularly Slime Balls, since Slimes are generally a bit rare and don't come around much. But, since Slime Balls are used in the recipe to summon a slime, it makes it unusable for such a purpose. It is the same case with Creepers and Gunpowder.

Perhaps you could add an alternate recipe as well for Creepers and Slimes, using Red Stone, or Gold, or something of the sort?

Well, I was thinking about that, but I decided that for now summoning the mobs through the sacks is just for fun, so you shouldn't be ablt to make a profit off of it.
However, I might change that.  I'm thinking about it...

could you make it so whatever we summon doesnt despawn till we kill it?

in all honesty its cause it would be cool to have pets er something :)

Hey Chao, change the summoning sack sprite or else you will get sued. It's illegal to steal content from MapleStory. Bannedstory got shut down becuase they had taken sprites and content from maple and used them for publical use. But they got a deal with nexon now and are allowed to run Bannedstory. You have taken both the name and the sprite.

For the poll:
You should make seperate sacks for ones that fight for you and ones that are just normal mobs. Yellow sacks are friendly and black sacks are normal (Like the picture) But use other sprites

Yes, I got the idea from MapleStory, but I have no intention of making this modd illegal.  If you are not aware of it, I have changed the icon quite a bit, making my own tweaks to the image, and slightly changing the color, and I plan on changing it a bit more as well.


As for V1.2, it will include a Tamed Wolf sack and MAYBE a spider jockey sack (spider jockey might not be until later).

I advise you to do that. I'm not sure what will happen if nexon sees this. I like the current icon. But the fact is that nexon hates everything that copies their work. Lawyers and shit isn't fun =/

Unless this mod gets really popular, I doubt that nexon will see it, but if it does, I will probably change the icon for the summoning sacks, but I will not change the name.

It's a small update.  I just added the Tamed Wolf sack.  Spider Jockeys will be added in later versions.
