And minecraft is to small to need to be on a disc. And its mostly an arcade game.
Also, I hope Notch makes it modifiable, As you can tell he doesn't care about people modding it on the PC so maybe he won't care for it on the Xbox to.

A Minecraft clone for the PSP has all of the controls (Minus Fog distance and sneak) mapped perfectly.
Analog stick: movement.
X, circle, tirangle, square: Camera movement.
Right & Left: Place & Destroy.
D-pad: Choose blocks/sets.
If you added a second analog stick (I'm going to use the PS3 controller as an example) then you could map it even better.
D-Pad left/right: Select block
DPad up/down: Fog distance?
Square: Use (Equivalent of right-clicking furnaces, workbenches, buttons, etc.)
Even if you did map square as a use button, you'd still have FIVE buttons left over.
I'm not certain if you can "click" the Analog sticks on an xBox controller to use as buttons. If you can't, that's still THREE buttons left.

1. If he sells it at the same cost, he basically lost money.
2. If he sells it for a higher price, people are not going to buy the CDs, meaning he lost even more money.
I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to death, Nor known to life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works
