I would log in and it would make it to the title screen and i would eather make a new world and it would say saving chunks and then close so no error report....what do i do?
OK i went into creative and saw a bunch of mobs.
One more thing though:
Anyone have a crafting tutorial or recipe book for everything yet? I went through the wiki and youtube and got a few things. Kinda like not knowing everything though so no biggy.

Try to use a program like MCError to get your error and use our bug tracker to post your error.
Is it possible to use texture packs with this? (Vanilla HD specifically its 256x256)
Yes, texture packs are completely possible, but for our new items and blocks, you'd have to make some textures for terrain1.png, items1.png, etc. You can see all the images we have in the bin folder under the folders.

Are you on a mac? If yes check my install guide on page 45 that fixes that bug. It happened due to missing files. If you are on windows merge the folders DO NOT REPLACE THEM.

Played this mod a bit, and my frames drop to hell, even with all the new features (like fancy blocks and torch auto lighting) off.
Here is a pic of my frames with just a few mods on (like Mo' Creatures):
I get an average of 55-60 fps above ground.
Then here's a pic of me running EvilMinecraft (with Mo'Creatures as well. Its compatible. )
I get an average of 15-20 fps, with dips as low as 9. D:
What does EvilMinecraft do that causes frames to get so low, even with all the advanced features off?
I even tried turning off smooth lighting (I saw that suggested) and my fps still only went up to averaging 35-40, while still unplayable with auto-lighting torches on (9-12 fps when moving with a torch).
OMG thank you so much I was following the development of this mod so closely and then you guys stopped developing it. I would very much appreciate it if you could make it SMP compatible.

I apologize for the FPS drop as we're still working on ways to optimize. Torches in hand are a little laggy at the moment, but the reason you get low FPS in EVMC while having stuff such as fancy blocks and smooth lighting enabled is because we modified quite a few things for things to render properly along with our special effects.
im using the magic craft launcher *Mod snaps in a click* but this mod wont go through it will just give an error screen plus of course i know modloader compadible because you always need it but i cant install it eaither way, plus tmi im pretty sure its compadible,

I got it working but now i cant go into a world it will just go into Saving Chunks then Crash i'd Like to give a error report but i cant it poped up then dissapeared

This mod works great for me and I get an average FPS of 35, until I start chopping down a tree. Whenever I start chopping down trees, my FPS drops to around 5, probably even lower, until the block is broken, and then its fine again.
I've got most of the EVMC options turned off, except the torch lighting one. The only thing that comes to mind is the block damage persistence feature of EVMC. However I'm not sure as other blocks, such as dirt and stone, don't affect my FPS when I'm breaking them nearly as much as a tree does.
Is it possible to disable the block damage persistence?

No we don't have an SMP version yet, but we will have it eventually. Not as easy as people thing it would be to make it SMP.

It's the only thing I really don't like about this mod. It causes a lot of lag for me, and it annoys me.
