Hi guys! Sorry to disappoint (some of) you, but this pack is being discontinued. However, I'm using some of these textures, improving, and I'm going to release a new texture pack eventually thanks to the experience I had with this one. It will use some of the same textures.
I'm leaving the original thread and download link up so that you can use the textures as you please, just don't:
1. Re-distribute the textures in any way
2. Claim that the textures are yours
You can splice these into your pack for your own personal use, but don't spread it around.

Version 1.1.5

Please note that you WILL have to patch your game using the MC Patcher. I'm not going to guide you through that. -Trollface.jpg-

With that being said, thanks for taking the time to READ THIS THREAD! There currently isn't much.
This texture pack is meant to be more of a vibrant, happy texture pack. It's 32 x 32, so there's obviously more detail and I feel that it's when Minecraft is at it's best. I also aimed to give the pack a more... I don't know, a pixel-by-pixel feel. I see too many packs in that realistic style that everyone uses, and I figured it would be nice to be different without taking away from the game. Most of the texture pack follows what the items and blocks are supposed to be (Except for Pumpkins, because Runestone pumpkins are awesome.)
Showed up in the last update:
-Hoes! (Mallets! MANLY!)
-BETTER Gravel (+ Recolored Alt)
-BETTER Glowstone (+ Unbundled Alt)
-2 more paintings! (Because I am a Yognaut!)
-Mob finished (COW! It's a Yak.)
-Couple of items (Though I don't like Glowdust)
Work in Progress...
-Lava
-Regular hoe alternates
-Rest of items
-Passive Mobs
-Agressive Mobs
-More paintings!
-Redoing the shape of Stone
-...Anything else that is important
Just copy and paste the above into your signature. :smile.gif:
Please comment and critique! Just realize that I created this pack for my own entertainment purposes, and I'm not going to swing with whatever people want to be put in this pack unless I'm in full agreement. Just a little thing to note.
DISCLAIMER: I do not allow anyone to use my textures without my permission, don't use my textures in any remix packs or such. You may repost this texture pack on other forums as long as they don't claim to be your own work, and if a download link is provided for it, it must be the same link as the one provided here.
I really like your texture pack! It got the clean feeling and the elegant feeling all rolled up into one, and the colors are very vibrant and enjoyable to play on. My only problem is that the minecart tracks and ladders just look too...flat I guess? Thanks for the cool texture pack!
Ha! Seriously! Thanks for the comment though. Review it when you have time, perhaps?

I might tweak that a bit to add a little bit of depth... I suppose I might need to show them a little more effort since I don't really use minecarts! Thanks for the feedback! :biggrin.gif:
Oh I'm telling all the people on my server about it too by the way, one said he didn't like the water much cause he couldn't tell which way it was flowing and the other is downloading it as I post this!

Actually, the water isn't mine. It's from the very old GeruDoku thread, because default water just looked terrible with this texture pack. The water is going to be changed, rest assured! ^^
Lava will be changed too, on that note. I did write this in the OP, but it's all good!
Thanks for telling people about it! I'm glad you enjoy the pack.
Thought you weren't going to release this to the public, Giffard? :tongue.gif: Glad you did, though. It deserves the attention.
Still say you should add some detail to the stone and dirt! :wink.gif:

I said that I wasn't going to release this to the public until I had a full Terrain.png (Which I now have, except I neglected the fern texture. Whoops. Will update that)
I still disagree with you on the dirt. :tongue.gif:
i love the dirt but the stone is much too doku/gerudoku. Im not a fan of the lightstone either, it seems like circuitry (but that may be what you are going for)
I really like this, im just not sure what theme you have gone with other than more cartoon/rpg.

There isn't that much of a theme, really. The theme is the art style. I guess if I wanted a theme it's more of a vibrant, magical pack. In the near future, feathers will be red and chickens will be phoenixes and such.
But yeah, I agree that stone is much like Gerudoku's, but I actually really liked Gerudoku's stone so it was hard to come up with something different. I didn't want any of the stone to look as smooth as default, though.
DUDE! I love how you made the gold ore like peeking through the cracks of the cobble! Nice idea!
Thanks! :biggrin.gif: I love the look of vein-like ore... but not for all of the ores :wink.gif:
Wow where on earth did this come from.
Fantastic work!
Thanks! I've been working on this pack since like... mid july, and I decided to upload once my terrain was finished. Up until then, it was kept under wraps by a couple of good friends.
Rather nice looking texture pack. The textures look really good. :biggrin.gif:
Why thank you, very much! :smile.gif:
I'll have some more sneak peaks of items coming up pretty soon, tools are almost done and I'm almost certain that I'll make an update with them, just for you guys! After that, I'll try animating water and lava, but I suck at animating things... We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I won't have to redo it more than three times. :wink.gif:
One thing: You should give some credit to the peopple of the textures you've used.
I see quite a few textures from gerudoku. I think the flowing lava is from John smith's pack, and to me the rails seem very familar, is the original design from dokucraft?

Ps. I really like the items you've made.
If you actually take the time to read the thread, I actually have credited Gerudoku for the water and lava, because that's where I found it. (I also used their breaking animation as well) All other textures were created by me.
So, I have given credit, if you had taken the time to read what was stated in the OP. You would've also learned that those specific textures are going to change, and are only temporary.
Rails actually look very similar to Dokucrafts, yes, but they actually are not.

Credit goes to JohnSmith's Lava, as placeholder until my own lava is put in.

Progress is being made on the items.
I'm not showing all of the finished ones either!
+ 2 new screenshots are being added to the original post, I neglected the nether and arctic biome.
Still say you should add some detail to the stone and dirt! :wink.gif:
