Important Update

Development

After discussing alot of things though with people heres what we will be doing

Lore/Storyline:

The Lore and Storyline is been create by Cherie0 If you would like to help Click Here We are open to ideas on the storyline for each faction aswell as the lore but we will be keeping it to the Stronghold (2) Game

Plugins:

As lead plugin Developer i will be making sure we have the right plugins to create the Server Stronghold once was if you would like to request a plugin Idea post it Here aswell as adding the right kind of plugins for the server i will be creating some awesome ones too agian if you having any Requests for Me to create a plugin that you cant find let me know

Map:

The Map is going to be recreated from a campaign map in the Stronghold 2 (Picture below) this will be about 1500x1500 and will be created from scratch it will be split up into the faction areas and neutral areas in the neutral areas there will be npc towns/ moderator towns these will have quest run and events and maybe you will be able to take control of them



We also have the following Staff positions open

Website,Forums,Wiki: This is managing the wiki updating it as well as the forums

Map Builders: We are looking for the best of the best builds who can build not only terrain but Medieval themed buildings

Plugin Testers: We need a though people to help us test Plugin s as well as Complete the in-game Quests to make sure there's no bugs or errors

Moderator Application

As a moderator your role will be to ensure the Running of the server in-game as well as this you will been part of a In-Game group that run an npc village in a neutral Town

Alpha Release

TODAY @ 5pm GMT

Alpha Release will be a trail run for Stronghold 2 and i will explain more in detail below about some of the features Our Alpha testers will get to see and how you can become an Alpha Tester


Features:

Some of the main features our Alpha testers will get to try out is our Quest System during Alpha testers will only be tester The Beginning Quests which is What i like to call A taster System (More about the Beginning Quest below) there will be also a lot of plugins that will need testing such as Mcmmo, Stronghold2(Custom Plugin), Elemental Arrows, Iconomy and Many more


The Beginning Quest:

This is what happens when you first join the server you will be given the chance to read our lore & the back story to how you came about this place, you are then told you must meet a Guy at the docks this Guy will be your first Quest the Quests will continue as you learn about the different classes on the server as well as the faction of the server

How to become an Alpha Test:

To become an Alpha Tester there is 1 of 2 options First is to fill out the application below or second is to make a small donation to Gain access to a special package @(?4.50) allowing you to get sneak peek action to new and coming events, patch's etc by donating you are also supporting the server for the far future

Q&A

There's a couple of Questions that i wish to address that a couple of people have asked me

Q: Why Alpha why not just push out a beta release ?
A: This is because there is alot of content we wish to add to the server and rather than doing alot of work to push out a beta and finding simple bugs we could of fixed first with just releasing a Alpha

Q: When will you be open to the public? and will you be whitelist ?
A: Alpha release will be carried out over 2 days once we are happy we will continue work on the server till an OPEN BETA, the open beta will be anyone who fills out a whitelist application and is accepted will be able to join and play as normal But this will be for 3 days once we are happy there is no bugs/glitchs we will Open the server up as normal for people to fill out an application

Q: Can you explain the patchs ?
A: Sure as said before there is a lot of content we wish to add to the server but because there so much doing it all would take a while before we would open to the public so instead we will be adding more content to the server once every month you will be able to see the latest patchs on our wiki and the up and coming features coming in the next patch on the wiki

Leaders Wanted!


It has come to the point in development that we now need leaders for each faction i will explain below what you will be doing, what you can do, and what we expect of you (at the bottom of this post is an application but make sure you write it out carefully)

Q: What will I be doing as a leader ?

A: As a leader you get 2 Classes 1 Mandatory & 1 optional the First is the skill of a Warrior and the option is any other classes Excluding: Thief & <TBC> these will be your day to day jobs when your not running the faction as choosing the optional will allow you to go mine for example if you choose the miner class and the mandatory warrior rank is so you can lead you men into battle, as well as this you will have to run the faction this doesnt just mean In-game it also means On our forums & Teamspeak so these are a must. In the day to day running of the faction you will have to tell your people what to do and understand what needs to be done because once the server opens you will have to choose a path (This will be explained in my next post) and choosing this path will mean you have some hard choices not only that but you will need to have be good at diplomacy & war.

Q: What can i do as a leader ?

A: Ive kinda explained this in the first but it all depends on the path you choose whether it be peace, War, Economy etc

Q: What we expect of you?

A: We do not mean this in disrespect but we need to ensure that we have the right people for this job because you as a leader will be controlling a large number of people, there is 3 main things we expect there are; Mature, Active & dedicated. we dont want people who come on for about 1 week then just leave because its not for them or they cant handle it

Im not a Huge fan of Stronghold butlike settlers age of empires and that games
i like to join the server, or be even a Moderatorif you think that is okay,.
i play minecraft since 1.1 and have lots of experience with RPG's since its my favorite game genre, are there different roles and wich can you choose or nvm, let me hear

also even tho how stronghold is its the same sort of setup but we will be focusing on castle& strongholds

Why do you wish to be a leader ? : (5-7 sentence min) Its a great challenge and i like that on a other serveri was a mod and that was a challenge lots of grief and stuff The lamb leadership is a great and fun job i like the peacefull rp characters
and i like the weird kind like the lamb she cares for her people but still like in the text ; she builds great defense and armies ;
do you have good building skills? : (pictures of your work help) I have good building skills i already helped with a project to build a major medieval town, srry i dont make pics ;p
