So someone on my server used WorldEdit to cuboid spawners from near spawn to around 12500x 12500z. Natually, this causes issues, and McEdit is lagging horrifically. Is there any tool that can remove blocks based on ID and height? Going ingame is damn near impossible.

Any other way of fixing this would be appreciated too :)

(Yes, the user in question isn't having WorldEdit anymore...)
Anyone have a completely flat map?

One thing you can try is the command-line editor included with pymclevel (MCEdit's level-loading code). A command to remove mob spawners in a specified area should look something like this:

mce.py MyWorld replace 52 with 1 0, 0, 0 to 12500, 128, 12500
