With this mod you can repair your armor by washing it! The washing machine can only be placed near water and uses soap as fuel. you can check the recipes spoiler for how to make a washing machine and the soap

Awesome mod, I would have never thought of this and it adds a more modern feel to minecraft too.

Hm hm, I noticed from the screenshot you posted that it works on armor that isn't broken, too. Is it possible to make that not happen? It would make it harder to waste soap. Arguments against that I can see right now: It's not hard to make;Maybe you want to wash your armor JUST BECAUSE.

Edited because I don't look over my posts after rewriting what I'm going to say, and sometimes that looks really confusing.
If English is your first language, please have at least a basic understanding of how it works.

It is silly, its unrelistic, you're not going to put diamond/iron/chainmail armour in a washing machine lol. Leather I kind of understand.

Washing machine?
Would be better to add like a new machine, Newsmeltinator etc. which takes 1 iron and smetlts into the cracks in the iron armor, and replinishes it! But nice idea!
New soaps?
Blue soap: Fixes much armor, diamond and bonemeal, or lapis and bonemeal
Green Soap: Leaves and bonemeal?

Haha, that's pretty cool.

Perhaps you could make wool clothing, and as you move on dirt, your clothes/hands get more dirty?

This is great, Notch should add this to vanilla minecraft it would really clean things up ;)

Also, if you don't use mods why are you looking at the mods section? 0.o (not disputing you just confused at the logic lol)

Umadbro? and yes minecraft is realistic in some parts, but I just laugh at the idea of putting minerals in  washing machine. A forge and hammer is realistic. Putting soap and cracked and grim encrusted iron armour? no.

you have to put it near water. The water doesn't need to be a sourceblock, it can also be flowing water .
