Mod thread: WizardCraft

I'm looking for someone with SMP modding experience using SDK's ModLoaderMp to help me make the multiplayer version of my Mod WizardCraft. I have little experience with SMP and I'm struggling to make the switch from SSP to SMP by myself.

My final plan for WizardCraft SMP is to set up a server where I/We can host Wizard battle tournaments using the mod which will offer prizes to the winners and will be recorded for youtube (and if they are popular streamed live).

In order to make that dream reality I'm also going to be developing a Server only mod that manages the one on one battles, repairs any damage to the arena between rounds and spawns pick-ups in the arena that the contestants can use.

Anyone that helps me with the SMP conversion of the Current WizardCraft will be first pick candidate for helping out with the Wizard Battle Arena mod.

Drop me a pm if your interested. As I said at the beginning, I'm only looking for modders with SMP experience some of the stuff I've been working on in WizardCraft SSP is complicated so if you don't have the experience you will be out of your depth.

I have a little bit of smp modding experience so I might be able to help you little but im still learning all the complicated hurts your head stuff so if you want my help you might have to wait a week or 2 for me to get it a little more down pact

Indeed i am an SMP modder - I have my own working smp version of mo'creatures (for minecraft_server.jar) and my own working version of Computercraft SMP

But i dont work for free...

So something must be given in return most preferrably cash (like $3) because i need to pay for my minecraft server hosting

I dont have much experience on modding but I created a block, an ore, a GUI, and im working on a porting my mods to bukkit...if I can figure out how to port my mods to bukkit I can port your mod to bukkit too as many server managers do use bukkit.

Heres some custom orbs and staff ive made up + Staff powers I made up that probobly won’t get relesed. Creeper Orb: Gun Powder In Diamond Shape + Magicpowder in the middle= Creeper Orb. Empty staff+ Creeper Orb= Creeper Staff. Powers= Creeper Explosion 1 Mana Explodes a normal size of a creeper explosion. Lightining Explosion 3 Mana Does the same explosion as a lightning creeper. Creeper Summon 9 Mana Summons a pet creeper when you hit somthing, (eg: Zombie) it goes after and explodes.

Heres the second Staff. The tnt staff. Sand in diamond shape and magic powder in middle= tnt orb. Powers= Tnt giver= 3 Mana Gives you 5 tnt to explode what you want. Tnt Explosion= 5 mana Will send out a tnt that flys through the air and where it lands it makes a huge crater. Tnt Line=10 mana Makes a line of tnt that crosses your whole minecraft world. Once lighted it will explode down to bedrock level.

Both of the orbs combind makes a Super Tnt Creeper. Powers= Creeper Summon 3 mana Same from other staff but less mana to use. Super Tnt 4 mana allows you to fill a hole down to bedrock with tnt. Super TNT Creeper Summon 7 mana Makes a Lightning charged creeper your pet. When it explodes it stays alive. It will explode 6 times before disappearing. All of the things I listed go from normal to advanced then master.

My minecraft name is ChingKittyCat. Please give me credit if this becomes real, which I doubt it will. Its just a idea. :3

I am kind of a failure with modding, so I wont be able to help.
However, when this gets out for SMP I WILL play o your server! other magic mods are so non-cool I could have invented them
