Just the same as the /home and /sethome in hey0`s mod but then without all the other commands.

So yea, inspired on hey0`s mod in which you can /sethome and /home credit to him for the idea of it, i added the same functions but then in 2 files you need to put into your .jar server file.

What does it do:
Changes /home to /spawn
Adds the /sethome command
Adds the /home command

Download:
http://www.mediafire...61/Home Mod.rar

How to install:
Extract the 2 files from the RAR file (use WinRar)
Open the Minecraft_server.jar with WinRar
Add the 2 files you extracted to the Minecraft_server.jar
Now cloase the Minecraft_server.jar and run it!

How to use:
/sethome sets your current player position as your home location
/home teleports you to the saved home position

Have fun with it,
The MPC

Well lets start with a why, i wanted a /home and /sethome in my server but hey0`s mod comes with alot of instructions and even MySQL (if im not mistaken).
Nice, but hey0's server mod is just extract-and-run. There's nothing much to it, really.

Ah ok, well then thats my fault tbh :) i guess ill leave this on for people that only want a /home then but otherwise id say use hey0`s mod indeed if its only extract-and-run because it has more functions :)

EDIT: ill change that in the main post to then.

I don't actually run a server, but this should be useful for people who want to keep it as vanilla as possible  :Notch:

After using this mod for a bit, it seems that after a while it stops working and player skins become default. o_O

I'm using MCAdmin, and the /sethome doesn't appear to work.
However, /home takes me to the spawn.
I guess that's better than nothing. Thank you. =p

Doesn't work on 1.1_02.  Server shuts down right after starting with no error message.

Anything that was last edited PRIOR to a given client/server release, will not work on that version.

I did not ask you if this works.

I asked for SOMETHING to sethome, that does work.

Again, as a previous user stated, is there anyway to install this on a Mac? Unzipping the jar file doesn't seem to work for me.

Can you possibly have some other way of installing this mod? Without using the .jar file directly, maybe you can just have it in the same directory, or something.

Sorry to bother you, but I'd love to be able to set the spawn point in my server.

Does anyone know if 1.3 broke this? I've been playing on a server for 3 days that uses this. However, any time I /sethome and try to /home, it puts me in the middle of nowhere OUTSIDE the map (or it looks that way) and I fall and fall and fall and fall and eventually die from lava apparently. No matter what, it does not seem to save a proper location.

Has anyone tried and made this mod operational? I do not really want any other feature other than the sethome
