This Mod adds more tools and ores to minecraft.

ALL the tools and weapons are better than diamond!
The cactus ore spawns at the same location as diamond.

Just drag all the files from the .rar to your minecraft.jar file.
To find your minecraft.jar just go to run and type in %appdata% . Then go to roaming, .minecraft and then to bin.


Note: The cactus sword is the only item that is crafted with cactus not with the cactus diamond!

hmm i dont think its the best becauses diamnd is already ok. ithink you should change it so that theres no cactus ores and block as such. keep it as you can make tools/wepons and armour the same recipes as you normaly wood and the effectiveness is better than wood. if you do this it would be great and better!

also you would get enven more people= even more downloads =) trust me you would =)

this would go well as if you are stuck in a desert how would you be able to get anything without travely far and plus to get the ore? also if you are stuck in a desert you can make a cacti farm and make tools and such because you wouldnt have would to do this =)

I didn't do that because there is already a mod for this. Its called "cactus craft". And of course I don't want to copy any mods so I made this mod like this.

You should make this with ModLoader.
It's easier and a lot of people would get it.

thats a good idea even though it is compatible with modloader.

I didn't say it wasn't compatible with ModLoader.
I said you should use ModLoader, to not edit so many core files.
Editing core files is making this mod a higher chance that it won't work with other mods that may use some of those core files.
Also all the items would not be named "Unnamed".
I will make a video review when this mod uses ModLoader.

Btw, I have a tutorial set for making mods, all with ModLoader.

Oh ok I will have a look at your tutorial . But can you just tell me how to give the items names? Is there a special .java needed?
