[1.7.3]Electric Torch [V.1.0.1]

This thread is outdated, go there for the mod


Electric Torch Mod V.1.01

Adds a new torch, which is manageable with redstone. Turn it on and off!


To install:
please install Modloader FIRST! and then:

1. Make a backup of your minecraft.jar file
2. locate your .minecraft folder
3. unzip the ElectricTorch files inside that folder
4. Copy ElectricTorch.ini in the config Folder
(the folder where you find ModLoader.cfg)
5. Have fun

ToDo
-Write BlockID's in a .ini File.

ElectricTorch.ini
BlockID used as default: 205, 206
You can edit them if you wish.

looks good although the recipy image doesn't seem to apear.

Thank you :lol: I already used this mod in my map^^ but.. do you know how to use getuniqueblockid? At the moment im using 205 and 206, but this is not the best solution...

i think you should just modify the base files to make the normal torches (redstone, And coal) to need activation (button, Lever)

But then how would a new player start as it is hard to get down low enough to find redstone without any torches.

I motified it, now you can set the BlockID if you want... But I do not like the idea of making each torch an electric torch... That is in my opinion senseless..
