Where would my pack be without it's inspiration? My inspiration came from Painterly, Tooncraft, and Wayukian. My process was
1. Do I have any idea how I want to do this?
2a. If yes, draw it to the best of my ability in Gimp.
2b. If no, look in my arsenal of packs or just search for it in Google Images. Then back to 1.
3. Play test it.
4a. If it's good, I may add a few touches, but that's usually good.
4b. If I don't like it, go back to 1.
Rinse, lather, repeat until I have something I like.

OK, before I'm done for the night, I thought I'd show off a few more textures I didn't show yet.


Trapdoor, obsidian, netherrack, furnaces, dispenser, piston, both tilled soils, and almost all the dyes in that pile in the middle. I haven't finished ink sacs or cocoa beans, so when I finish that, expect a picture spotlight on the dyes Along with the hotbar I got with soups, doors, sticks, and beds. Plus some dirt and a tool I didn't intend on being there

Edit: Pretty much everything in this pictures is outdated XD.

I've got a question about grass in general. I have a grasscolor.png in the misc folder, and I've tried desaturating both the grass on the top and the sidegrass right next to obsidian, yet when I try it ingame, it's different colors. Help?

The sidegrass overlay needs to be grey; perferably the same shade as the grass top.
Here's my tutorial on perfect sidegrass matching, though. It even works on Fast graphics, but it has the downside of removing separate biome colours.


1. Turn the grasscolor.png triangle completely white. (Or transparent, but I haven't tried that.)

2. Recolour your grass top and sides to be the colour that you want, rather than grey.

Done. Even though that's probably not what you wanted, it make sidegrass match up properly.

I hope to release a Beta version sometime in the next few days to two weeks, if that's what you mean. Finishing it completely will probably take a lot longer.
