This small pack contains the cow texture from the PC Gamer Demo, as well as the demo map. This is not my work; I simply took the files from the demo. This texture pack is just a curiosity for those who want the PC Gamer-branded cows in the standard game.

The texture should work on all versions of Minecraft, as it only alters the cow texture. The save is a clean world as it would appear at the beginning of the demo (a starting chest and a giant PC Gamer logo being two points of interest). The save folder and the texture zip are contained within the linked zip file:

It's nice that you used the word "literally" because if you hadn't done that, I would have thought that you figuratively found some. Thank you for making that clear.

Of course anyone can make it. But I haven't seen another version online, so I thought I'd share.

Just tested the cow texture with the 1.8 pre-release. It still works.

Works for 1.0.0 release. Texture is also applied to calves.

Thanks for putting this up! I originally started Minecraft through the demo so it is really intersting being able to look back at the untouched version of my main world.

This pack should still be up-to-date (although there seems to be an issue regarding lava using an alternate texture).
