You should make it use modloader, that was I can use zan's, spc, too many items, improved chat, crouch toggle. I tried it, and it didn't load to the main menu.
Ever wanted to see a slime, but could never find a place they spawn? This is because slimes spawn in special "slime" chunks, generated at random using the seed (so they are persistent from world-to-world with the same seeds!) This small mod adds a true/false to the F3 menu, allowing you to see if you are standing in a chunk that slimes may spawn! It does not edit how slimes spawn however, so in these chunks they still only spawn from levels 1-16 =P
I updated it finally.. sorry it took so long. Added a feature too: a map, shows all the slime chunks in the surrounding area (# are slime chunks, 0 are non-slime chunks, center of the map is your chunk). Removed the annoying red bars (a small snippet of code from optifine, changed around a bit so it doesnt require aditional options and is always removed ;P) so the map would work and be visible at all times. Hoping to figure out how to use colors in the map (slime chunks green, other chunks white) in the future.
Uploading it now to mediafire and replacing old links.
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ZAN's MINIMAP. Might do this in the future but probably not recent, I do not use zan's minimap and would have to decompile his code to do make it compatible, and I usually don't have much time on my hands.
Post if you use this mod please, I'd like to get a good idea how many people use this :wink.gif:
Edit: and again, sorry it took so long. Won't take as long for 1.9 :tongue.gif:

Did you delete meta? Are you using a clean jar? If not, what mods? A lot of mods are incompatible with this mod. =/
This is not compatible with Zan's minimap mod or optifine. Please make it so.
abj.class from SlimeFinder conflicts with ZanMinimap0.10.6d-1.8
iw.class from SlimeFinder conflicts with [FileCopter]OptiFine_1.8.1_HD_A
Okay, we'll tackle these in order.
First: I already stated I will make it compatible with zan's minimap, just not right now as I don't have much time on my hands.
Second: Install my mod then install optifine and it will work. Optifine already mods the bars to disable the red bars, which is the file that it conflicts with (as I did the same thing, so the map would be visible).
Third: Don't order mod creators to do stuff. They do this stuff for free most of the time, and on their free time to boot. :smile.gif:
About the map, exactly which part of it are you in? Its kind of useless unless you know which chunk in that map you are in.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Optifine is awesome!
Now, when can Notch start using 3D instead of linear chunks for minecraft? It would massively improve performance, and increase height limits by hundreds of times. There are mods out there that do that already.
make it in fileplanet

yes alot of people know about that but it's impossible to know where a chunk starts without using MCedit

where am I in the map?
The only request I have is something to mark where you are on the map.
