NEWS

-We currently have all the builders we need, who all seem to have their own skills they can bring to the team. We have got all of our artists!

THE TEAM
I have recently felt the need to share with the public the names of all the people we have in the team so far, so, here we go! (Message me if you would prefer to be referred to with a different name, I'm using the ones off Skype for now =)
So, apart from Hannah, Sam, Daniel and I (Nathaniel), who are not just inactive bureaucrats but enthusiastic all-rounders, we have:
Builders: Dangirdas, Dimitry, Stephen, Joe, James, Tom, Lyke, Lorraine, Zachary.
Artists: Aaron, Dimitry, Jack, Manny, Raymond.
Writers: Hannah, Nathaniel. (Daniel and Sam will be influencing it too, but we feel this is a good enough team to write the Story of the Five ^^).
Webmaster: Daniel. That is without a doubt, his forte. Of course everyone will have a chance to input on this though, he serves to please XD.

INFORMATIONNOTE: WE MADE THIS POST SO LONG FOR TWO REASONS. 1. To prove how serious we are about the show. 2.If you're serious about taking part, you'll want to know all this anyway.
Introduction: The Endeavour of The Five is a brand new original roleplay adventure show being made by a few talented and dedicated players of minecraft. Yes, like many other of these "shows", The Yogscast is our biggest inspiration, however, we are most likely more organised than any other imitation of them yet.
History: The group only met after we were all accepted for another show. I will not mention the name of the person in charge, as I don't wish to embarrass him, but at the end of the day he had started recruiting many people, and expected them to do everything, even the storyline for him! Many left almost immediately, but Hannah, Tony, Nick, Rundagor and I (Nathaniel) stayed and played a few "Let's Play"s together. The group got to know one another, and after many hints about making our own show, Hannah and I decided to do something about it. As I live in Britian, I had to stay up all night, working with Hannah (Who is a talented and experienced writer) to create a rich, fertile base plot that would intergrate perfectly into the Minecraft World. I mean, its gonna take more than a poor imitation to be accepted as more than a "copy of the Yogscast" right?
Summary: As a result of all this, we have been able to start working on the map, as we have a detailed storyline, a list of characters and a theme. We are currently using a private Bukkit 30 slot server, provided very kindly by xitaxchix, with lots of mods to aid our building process. We have around 10 people in our building team. As this will be Yogscast-esque, we're not allowing any of the other main characters to know the storyline (much to our new friends' disappointment). This means no builders or artists can be main characters.
What we need AT THE MOMENT:. No one at the moment!
Someone will always be online to talk to, as we have people from: England, America, Canada, Israel, China, New Zealand, Australia, Croatia, Saudi Arabia and Norway (So far!) Good job to any texture packers who have actually been bothered to read this main post before applying. We will know this because in your application your answer to "Are you trustworthy?" will be as negative as possible!!! It's a stupid question anyway :)

NOTE: Extras applying for this emergency role will also be able to take part in the show at its later stages! (I mean, as an extra you'll know the storyline of the show, which is perfect as so will the extras who provide the experience for the 5 main characters during the actual show, who (3 of them) will be oblivious. ALSO! IF THERE IS A HUGE LIST OF APPLICATIONS, DO NOT LET THAT PUT YOU OFF! This is only the application-for-interview stage- Nothing is set in stone!
And now, here's a brief, out-of-context summary of how The Five's story begins.....
"A group of five teenagers who are fairly poor, fend for themselves during a pretty desperate time. Luckily, they have a more mature, young adult figure, who just about manages to keep them alive... and in check.
One day, without any explanation or goodbye, the person the group had relied on as their parent for as long as they could remember- leaves. Without him, their micro society begins to falter.
One night they go too far in their antics; driven by desperation they commit a theft. They are caught by the royal guards, and without trial- imprisoned... The King was, with reason, extremely merciless in these desperate times."
Banded Together,
Chosen by fate.
Their desperate endeavor,
As destiny’s date.
They began in a chapter of despair,
Despised by all, except each other.
The town treated them in a way most unfair.
They learned to survive off of one another.
