This mod is designed to turn that small garden into a beautiful place to sit when the sun is out!
Sometimes fences can look boring, or out of place, those beautiful gardens you wanted a nice hedge for, or even to make a maze!
The purpose of this mod is to make good looking gardens. without leaves de-spawning, it also plays on making a use for being able to shear leaves off trees.
Over time i will add different types of block which i believe personally would add to a nice looking garden (such as decorative blocks for paths.)

Thats right, the mod is being updated to 1.6.2! But it isn't just a crappy rushed release this time, nope.
I'm fully re-writing the code from scratch.
Yes I know I said June but I needed time to relax too, and now things are working and I'm happy.
The update will be coming within a month or too hopefully, click me to see my progress (last post).
This is a beta release, it is not designed to be stable yet.
Also, there are a lot of features missing, but I wanted to get a sample out to the public for you to test for me as I will be away on holidays this month, its unfair to make you wait too long.

This mod uses the Forge API, INCLUDING its built in Forge-Modloader hooks. Therefore Modloader (on its own) is no longer a dependency, but is still compatible.
Without these dependencies the mod will NOT work, also, if you get any form of error or crash COPY YOUR ERROR LOG (.minecraft/modloader.txt)
If you don't give me this error log I can't help you, because I can't read your mind.

Make sure you installed ModLoader first and forge api.
Copy all the .class files into your minecraft.jar.
Then copy the "GardenCraft" folder (found in the textures folder) into the minecraft.jar
DO NOT copy the whole textures folder, else it will not work.
If your using MagicLauncher, extract all the .class files and the "GardenCraft" folder into a separate .zip file (for it to read the mod it needs to be so that when you open the .zip you immediately see .class files and this folder)

Q: Do you know about the changing textures bug?
A: Its not a bug...It's intended to keep everyone happy with the texture choice.
Q: It wont work I get a black screen!
A: Post your error log. IF you don't post an error log I refuse to help you at all.
Q: It doesn't work with X's mod, can you make it compatible?
A: If its possible then yes. If I have to speak to the other modder I will, but if they don't co-operate. No.
Q: Can you add "______" into the game?
A: I am always open to suggestions...
Q: Can you make it SMP?
A: The mod currently has a lot being added rather quickly. I will release SMP Beta's from time to time depending on how much I have to do for the SSP version.
Q: Can you split the X and Y into two mods? I only want X.
A: No, requires too much time to split one mod into several, and maintain them. I have a life too.
Q: Can I use this in a modpack?
A: No, thank you for being considerate and asking, but I like to keep track of the mod as an individual item so I can monitor downloads and make quick fix releases etc.
Q: I get an error saying textures are missing!
A: You've probably copied the entire textures folder into your minecraft.jar. I would suggest actually READING the instructions on this page for help.
