This texture pack has been reviewed on a blog by SuperCheeks!
"The best feature about the Puffy Lines texture pack in my opinion has to be the colours used. They are simple yet so bright and vibrant! [...] Also it includes custom water and lava which, has to be the best I have seen in a low resolution texture pack."

You may need to paste the code into Notepad first and re-copy it; the text formatting can sometimes be grabbed up from the code, which messes up the banner when it's in your sig and stops it linking to this thread properly.

Assuming that means you don't like it, that's alright. I don't expect it to fit everyone's own feel.

Care to elaborate, though?

I like it, nice and simple. Very smooth lines. I especially like the grass and ores :)

This is nice! It reminds me a lot of Splotch Block or whatever it is called. It looks all around good, but I would suggest that you make a biome and non biome version of this as I noticed that the grass is not set to biome, but the leaves are. Just a suggestion. Good luck!

I wanted to not do biomes until I'd tweaked the grass colour to match the sidegrass colour on Fast graphics. I will add biomes eventually, but it's not a high priority.

Reminds you of SplotchBlock? I take that as a compliment :D

Oh, and if you want the grass colors to match perfectly on fast, just edit the foliage color.png in the misc folder and clear it to an alpha channel. That will make it a perfect non-biome pack. Hope this helps!

Well, do you know how to do that in Paint.NET?...

Could you also explain what that is?

EDIT: After looking up how, and trying it, I don't get it. I shall make biomes at some point, but it's likely that they will be alternate files.

Hint indeed :D

Here is my latest .zip file. Enjoy :)

I have, for now, decided against biomes. I'd rather concentrate on the textures.

Hmm, this actually looks really nice! Really creative breaking animation. Although, empty bookshelves? D: You should put something in them in my opinion, It may only look bad because I have them in large quantity, but eh, still. Are you doing a custom GUI by any chance?

Thanks :D

Bookshelves, bookshelves. I'm please with how they turned out, but I shall make 2 alternates: one with a few books, and one packed full of books. While we're talking about bookshelves, I plan to eventually support the Connected Textures Mod.

If more people want books than people who don't, I shall replace the standard bookshelf.

EDIT:

I'm not happy with the orange book, but how's that?

Hmm, that orange book does look a little out of place, but only putting a little bit of books does look pretty good in my opinion, unfortunately I will be leaving now for 3 weeks (vacation) and cannot provide anymore feedback as my parents won't let me bring my laptop. I look forward to this packs further completion when I get back!

I like it! Good color choices, except for the dirt. But thats because I hate that dark brown dirt color, it DOES fit in your pack. Try a lighter dirt, though, maybe it will look even better!

The other thing would be that the stone doesnt really look like stone, but more like small long bricks. and the last thing i will complain about is that the wood is a recoloured cobble. I would rather change the cobble, though, because that pattern really fits the wood.

But again, excellent color choices, and I just love that grass.

Just an idea for the sidegrass: Make it so it does something with the dirt pattern. Hard to explain, so heres what i mean:

oh, by the way, [simg] tags dont exist anymore. just use [img], it scales them down too, now.
