These are the same chambers available in Portal: The First Slice, the official demo of Portal.
The readme file has details on where to get each of the mods needed. The texture pack (regular and HD) is also included. Some textures are from the Precisely Portalcraft pack, but most are made from scratch by me.
Took a little break from making Portal and I made a test from Portal 2!

I'm completely remaking Portal in Minecraft with the Portal gun mod. Also using the piston mod, speaker mod (for GLaDOS and other sound effects/music) vertical redstone, and probably a few others I'm forgetting. I'm planning on releasing it once it's finished. This video has the last two chambers, but I've made every test except for chambers 2, 18, and 19. You can see more on my YouTube channel if you want.
I've been working on it for a little over two months.

I skipped chamber 02 where you get the Portal gun, since I didn't see the point of including that. I may go back and add it later. Because of this, most of the chambers are numbered differently. For example, chamber 16 in Portal (the turret level) is now chamber 15.
I can't fit it all on one screen! Plus there's lots more buried underground activated by pressure plates. And some more on the other side of the building.

I WILL GET THIS THE MILLISECOND YOU FINISH THE LAST TWO CHAMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and now i really want to make my own portal 3... sort of.(using this.) Cool project, i really like it.
Well, I can't put it off any longer. I've been doing other things like making a new opening, adding music, and adding GLaDOS, but I guess it's finally time to start working on chamber 17 (18 in Portal)…
hm... this might be a problem. the portal gun mod still only works in 1.6.6, are you going to release the full map once it is updated? because otherwise no one will be able to play it and still have fun. please get back to me later.
it does look a little unnatural not being able to see where the portal will take you. but making a TORCH that lights the way takes so much cpu it's not even funny. And now imagine making a PORTAL that you can also view everything through in MINECRAFT.

The Portal gun mod is being updated tomorrow. With lots of things that, as soon as I implement them, will make my map much more accurate. (Single-color Portal guns, Portal spawners, rotating gun)

I just spent like 15 minutes trying to fix something with redstone that wasn't working… turns out I just needed to add a single repeater because the trail was too long at one point :tongue.gif:

Okay, so it turns out I CAN put off doing chamber 17… I'm renovating chamber 10 in preparation for the Portal gun mod update tomorrow.
