Vanilla Server Plugins

[PROJECT ABANDONED]
[WILL START AGAIN WHEN I FIGURE STARGATE VANILLA OUT]

-----

Hey even Vanilla Server runners need plugins too. This may not be as easy as dropping a file in the plugins folder (I may consider figuring out a way to do something like this) but at least I can make stuff Bukkit cant.

-----

My definition of a minecraft server plugin:
It requires NO client modification
It must be cool
It must obey the three laws of robotics (Mostly)
So here I give you: Vannila Plugins

You should make the TNT float when activated like in old minecraft.

Great idea! There's a severe lack of smp mods that don't require client modification. If you pull off some more mods it will be sick! Can I recommend a survival type mod that increases difficulty of mobs and the like, which for vanilla multiplayer would be great! =D
If you can't strive for perfection, what can you strive for?

Love the idea of not needing a client side... but why not just go bukkit then?

Some people stick to vanilla. Or they couldn't get Bukkit to work. Also Bukkit has some limitations for plugins. Like they cant make a plugins that makes creepers run twice a fast with an exploding power of X4.

Will attempt. If you noticed my Vanilla Plugins aren't complex. Oh and is there ANYONE out there that can make a windows and mac compatible program that inserts .class files and such into minecraft_server.jars? We need that desperately for mac users.

First, great SMP mods! These look really practical. Can you add a SSP version of the Old TNT and bookshelves drop bookshelves?
Second, there's a REALLY easy way of inserting these mods into the server on a mac.
Right click minecraft_server.jar,select open with...,click Archive Utility(or select other... for another unzipping program),then unzip the file, insert the .class files, rename the folder to minecraft_server.jar(it should still be a folder though)and you're done!
Oh,and you shouldn't have to rezip the file either, the same method works with minecraft.jar too.

The Game.

Yeah I was glad I had my Fly mod while I was testing it. I flew away in time. I kinda made it to make people fear the creeper even more.

Until the custom server and server mods section is cleaned up. I will keep my thread here.
